Ice/Sleep Element Quests: Get more Kushala Daora rewards!

Hunters,

Recent reports show an increase in the activity of Nightshade Paolumu, Somnacanth, Radobaan, Legiana, Barioth, and Lagombi. In addition, Elder Dragon Interceptions are heating up with increased sightings of Kushala Daora!

This is a great opportunity to upgrade your ice- and sleep-element weapons so we’ve prepared quests for you to slay these monsters. Rewards include gatherable materials and monster materials, with a Daora Horn and Wyvern Gem Shard up for grabs if you make it to the end!

It’s time to sharpen your weapons and prepare for the hunt!

Event Details:

Monster appearances:

• During the event, these monsters will appear more frequently in the following habitats. Additionally, they will also appear more frequently under the influence of Dimensional Links.
  Nightshade Paolumu: forest / desert habitats
  Somnacanth: swamp / tundra habitats
  Radobaan: desert / swamp habitats
  Legiana: swamp / tundra habitats
  Barioth: tundra habitats
  Lagombi: tundra habitats

Hunt-a-thon points:

• There will be some event-exclusive Hunt-a-thon points featuring Legiana and Barioth.
• There will be some event-exclusive Hunt-a-thon points featuring only Nightshade Paolumu.

Elder Dragon Interceptions:

• During the event, Kushala Daora will appear more frequently at Elder Dragon Interceptions.

Reward increases:

• During the event, receive 50%(*) more materials than usual for slaying Nightshade Paolumu, Somnacanth, Radobaan, Legiana, Barioth, or Lagombi.
  *You will receive two of each material in the first and second slots of basic rewards.
• In Elder Dragon Interceptions, the number of basic rewards will be doubled(*) upon repelling, and 1.5 times(*) higher upon slaying Kushala Daora.
  *You will receive two of each material in the first to fourth slots of basic rewards.

Limited-time quests:
Take on limited-time quests that include slaying Nightshade Paolumu and Legiana, and slaying or repelling Kushala Daora.

Main rewards lineup:

• Gatherable materials including Earth Crystals
• Monster materials including a Daora Horn and Wyvern Gem Shard
• Zenny

About Premium Quests

Premium Quests are quests that can be unlocked by exchanging gems in the in-game shop. Complete these quests to earn valuable rewards!
