Get ready for another Upgrade Rush Quest! This is your event for earning zenny and monster materials!

During the event, you can collect items such as Shining Eggs, which can be exchanged for zenny, through rewards from monster hunts, Hunt-a-thons, and Elder Dragon Interceptions. In addition, you’ll be able to collect even more monster materials thanks to boosted large monster slay rewards and limited-time quest rewards.

In Elder Dragon Interceptions, Velkhana will be the only elder dragon to appear! Velkhana equipment includes ice element weapons, one of Riftcharged Diablos’ elemental weaknesses, as well as armor that boosts ice element.

In addition, during this event, you’re guaranteed to receive a Crimson/Azure/Amber/Cyan/Pale/Black Driftstone each time you slay a large monster. This is a great opportunity to collect the driftstones you’re after and add new skills to your equipment! Other limited-time campaigns will also be available during the event.

Forge and upgrade your equipment, make the most of driftsmelting, and get ready to take on Riftcharged Diablos!

More slay rewards for large monsters

• Receive two of each material in the first and second slots of basic rewards when slaying featured monsters.

More rewards for Hunt-a-thons

• Receive two of each material in the first and second slots of basic rewards.
• Chance of receiving 10 additional Rarity 1 materials from the slain monster.

Chance to collect Shining Eggs and more

• Chance of Shining Egg or Gleaming Egg as a reward for slaying one of the featured monsters on the field.
• Chance of Gleaming Egg or Dazzling Egg as a reward for Hunt-a-thons and for slaying or repelling elder dragons in Elder Dragon Interceptions.

Eggs can be exchanged for Zenny by tapping the button to the right of the sort function in your Item Box. For details on how to exchange them, check out the FAQ.

Special Event Effect: Driftstone Bonus

Obtain driftstones guaranteed, which you normally only have a chance of earning when slaying large monsters.

Limited-Time Quests

Limited-time quests will vary depending on the strength (★) of monsters appearing on the field.

1. Hunters with 8★ or higher monsters appearing on the field
2. Hunters with 7★ or lower monsters appearing on the field
   For 8★ or higher, there will also be the (Challenge) Upgrade Rush Quest, offering riftborne materials.

Here’s a look at some of the rewards you can earn by completing the quests!

• Aside from the rewards listed above, you will earn the same materials and zenny in both quest types.

Quests distributed to group 1 are more challenging than those for group 2, featuring objectives such as slaying an 8★ or higher Bishaten or Stygian Zinogre.

• By completing the season story, you can unlock monsters with higher ★ levels than the monster that appeared in the final urgent quest of the story.
• You can check the strength of field monsters not only by the ★ level of monsters appearing in the field, but also by the monster strength available in the Monster Tracker.

• Some quest objectives and the number of quests differ between groups 1 and 2.
• Even if you unlock 8★ monsters during the event period, the Upgrade Rush Quest lineup will not change.
• You cannot play both quest sets.

Upgrade Rush Quest Special Field Hunt Ticket

By purchasing a Special Field Hunt Ticket, you can enjoy various bonuses to help you in your hunts! Exclusive quests will also be available only to ticket holders. Make the most of this ticket to enhance your hunting experience!

• Effects of the Special Field Hunt Ticket

  • Unlimited use of Paintballs.
  • Large monsters reappear in just 30 minutes.
  • The access range will be expanded by 50% at all times, and you will get double the materials from slaying small monsters and from gathering points.
    Cannot be combined with a Wander Orb, Wander Droplet, or Wander Powder.
  • Take on limited-time quests.
    No Hunter Medals will be awarded as quest rewards.

• During the following times, the only monsters that will appear on the field are: Bishaten (including Riftborne), Lagombi (including Riftborne), Barroth (including Riftborne), and Stygian Zinogre.

  • 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
  • 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • 8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

• Separate tickets will be available for Aug. 12 (Wed) through Aug. 16 (Sun).

• Ticket effects will apply from 9:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. (local time) on the corresponding date.

• Ticket sales are planned to begin around Aug. 10 (Mon).

• Tickets can be purchased via the in-app Shop, the Special Quests tab, or the Web Store. Purchases made through the Web Store include a bonus Item Box Expansion.

• The Extreme Hunter Pass is also on sale, making unlimited Paintballs even more effective by increasing your Paintball list capacity by +20. Be sure to combine them for maximum benefit!

Premium Quests are quests that can be unlocked by exchanging gems in the in-game shop. Complete these quests to earn valuable rewards!

Additional Information

• All hunters who have completed the prologue can enjoy the event content.
• Event quests will automatically become available in the Special Quests tab to all hunters who have completed the prologue.
• Riftborne monsters will only start to appear after you have unlocked 8★ monsters on the field.
• Driftsmelting can be unlocked by completing the pre-season story.
• The pre-season story refers to the period from the end of the prologue to the completion of Chapter 13: Sunderer of the Skies.
• Event quests will be available from Monday, August 10th, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. – Sunday, August 16th, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (local time). Be sure to complete the quests and receive your rewards between these times.
