MH Now Halloween 2024 is coming!

We don’t mean to scare you but… Get ready because Halloween is coming to Monster Hunter Now once again this year! Enjoy the spooky season with the Jack-o’-Head armor from last year’s event, as well as new weapon Cawscythe and armor Ghost Balloon. You’ll also have the chance to collect this year’s exclusive Halloween hunter medal and guild card background.
Plus, a limited-time pack with Halloween-themed layered equipment will be available in the shop. You won’t want to miss it!

◆ Limited-time event quests

Monday, October 21st, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. to Thursday, October 31st, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. (local time)

• MH Now Halloween 2024: Haunted Weapon will begin. Complete quests that task you with gathering Lollipop Candy and taking down large monsters to collect tickets - Pumpkin Tickets, used for forging and upgrading Jack-o’-Head armor that debuted in last year’s event, and Spooky Tickets, used for forging and upgrading the newly introduced Halloween weapon, the Cawscythe.

Friday, October 25th, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. to Thursday, October 31st, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. (local time)

• MH Now Halloween 2024: Phantom Friend will begin. Complete quests that task you with taking down large monsters to collect Ghost Balloon Tickets, used for forging and upgrading the newly introduced Halloween armor, Ghost Balloon.

• Expect more frequent appearances of Kulu-Ya-Ku and Aknosom. All Kulu-Ya-Ku on the field will be holding pumpkin-like rocks!
  Plus, Kulu-Ya-Ku on the field will drop Pumpkin Tickets and both Kulu-Ya-Ku and Aknosom on the field will drop Spooky Tickets.
  *Aknosom will not drop Pumpkin Tickets.

Friday, October 25th, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. to Thursday, October 31st, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. (local time)

• In addition to the above, you can expect more frequent appearances of Nightshade Paolumu and Magnamalo. Nightshade Paolumu and Magnamalo on the field will both drop Ghost Balloon Tickets.

• Skill: Solidarity (Halloween)
• Skill effect: Increases attack power relative to the number of fellow hunters with this skill activated.
  *If active during the event, the effect is multiplied by 5.
• Required tickets: Pumpkin Tickets
  *Amount required for forging or upgrading: 70 tickets

Long Sword: Cawscythe

• Element: Dragon
• Skill: Power Prolonger Lv. 2
  *This skill is available when upgraded to grade 8.
• Skill effect: Moderately extends the duration of the powered-up state granted by dual blades, long swords, and charge blades.
• Required tickets: Spooky Tickets
  *Amount required for forging or upgrading: 30 tickets

Waist armor: Ghost Balloon

• Skill: Artful Dodger
• Skill effect: Makes perfect evades moderately easier to perform.
• Required tickets: Ghost Balloon Tickets
  *Amount required for forging or upgrading: 30 tickets

Additional Information:

*Event quests will automatically become available in the Special Quests tab to all hunters who have completed the prologue.
*Quests will be available from Monday, October 21st, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. until Thursday, October 31st, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. (local time). Be sure to complete the quests and receive your rewards between these times.
*Kulu-Ya-Ku holding pumpkin-like rocks that you mark with a Paintball during the event can still be hunted after the event ends and will still drop Pumpkin Tickets. The same applies to Aknosom, Nightshade Paolumu, and Magnamalo.
*Jack-o’-Head armor that you forged during last year’s event can be further upgraded with Pumpkin Tickets from this year’s event.
*If you already forged Jack-o’-Head armor last year, it cannot be forged again this year.
*In addition to tickets, certain materials may also be required to upgrade event-exclusive equipment.
*The hunter medal this year will be different from last year’s medal.
