Major update: The Vernal Invader and March event lineup!

We’re excited to announce the event schedule for March. As well as our second major update, The Vernal Invader, we’re celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Monster Hunter series and the half-anniversary of Monster Hunter Now with the Monster Hunter Now Celebration 2024 and other events. Get ready to join the hunt this spring!
March Event Lineup
◆Monster Hunter Now Celebration 2024 Part 1
Get ready to celebrate with an event commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Monster Hunter series! As well as exclusive event quests, you can look forward to guaranteed encounters with Zinogre in Hunt-a-thons. We’re also expecting an increase in numbers of Black Diablos, Pink Rathian, Azure Rathalos, and Barioth.
① Monster Hunter 20th Anniversary Quest
Look out for event quests themed around the 20th anniversary of the Monster Hunter series. Completing these quests will earn you rewards such as Zenny and materials, in addition to an event-exclusive hunter medal!
*Event quests will automatically become available in the Special Quests tab in-game to all hunters who have completed the prologue.
Quest rewards include:
・Monster Hunter 20th Anniversary Medal
・Monster materials (Rathian Plate, Diablos Marrow, and more)
・Gatherable materials (Carpenterbugs, Dragonite Ore, and more)
・Zenny

② Guaranteed Zinogre at Hunt-a-thon Points
You can expect guaranteed appearances of Zinogre at Hunt-a-thon Points during these times.

③ Subspecies monsters and Barioth appearing more frequently on the field
We’re expecting an increase in numbers of Black Diablos, Pink Rathian, Azure Rathalos, and Barioth in the habitats listed below. Don’t forget that Barioth will disappear from the field on March 14th at 9:00 a.m. so this is your last chance to hunt it before its next appearance!
*You will need to have met the requirements for each of these monsters to appear on the field to encounter them in this event.

④ More monsters appearing more frequently all around
Monsters in all habitats will reappear after 1 hour and monsters will be appearing in more places on the field.

The second major update, The Vernal Invader, is almost upon us!
In this update, you can look forward to new monsters and weapons, as well as a few other surprises. Get ready for thrilling, new hunting experiences!
What’s more, with the Monster Hunter Now Celebration 2024 Part 2 we’ll be holding more events to commemorate the half-anniversary of Monster Hunter Now. More details will be announced at a later date.

A new subspecies will make its first appearance during this event. More details will be announced at a later date.

Additional Information
From March 12, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. (local time), the following changes will be implemented:
Barioth will no longer appear in the Hunt-a-thons.
From March 14, 2024, at 0:00 a.m. (UTC), the following changes will be implemented:
Barioth, Wulg, and Cortos will no longer appear in the field
The special quest “Fulminations in the Frost” will conclude. Please note that rewards must be claimed by the end date of the event.
・Black Diablos, Pink Rathian, and Azure Rathalos will appear on the field for hunters who have unlocked Diablos, Rathian, and Rathalos hunts.
・Barioth will appear on the field for hunters who have completed the urgent quest, Freezing Frost Fangs, from Fulminations in the Frost.
・Event details are subject to change.
