We’ll be celebrating MH Now’s 2.5-year anniversary, along with the rollout of Season 9. Let’s make it a big one!
During the final week of Season 8, Wave 3, from March 9 (Mon) to March 15 (Sun), Riftcharged Barioth will appear. Prepare your equipment through the Driftsmelting Bonanza and the Season 8 Climax events, then take on Riftcharged Barioth!
Season 9 is just around the corner! Details about Season 9, the Season 9 Wave 1 schedule, and events starting after March 19 (Thu) will be announced in early March.

- When challenging a riftcharged monster, using a designated featured defense weapon not only grants a Defense Points bonus, but also helps weaken the Dimensional Barrier.

Season 8 Climax Event

Monday, March 9th, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. (local time) – Wednesday, March 18th, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (UTC)
Monsters introduced in Season 8, including Astalos, Goss Harag, Quematrice, as well as Rathalos, will appear more frequently. During the Base Defense event period, the appearance rates of Quematrice and Rathalos will increase even further! You’ll also have a chance to obtain the Season 8 driftstones, Mysterious Driftstone M and Mysterious Driftstone N.
Additionally, for five days from March 13–17, a special ticket with bonus perks will be available to make the event even more rewarding. More details coming soon, so stay tuned!
MH Now 2.5-Year Anniversary

To celebrate Monster Hunter Now’s 2.5-year anniversary, a special event is coming!
This anniversary event is a great opportunity to upgrade weapons of various elements. Material requirements will be reduced for forging and upgrading Mizutsune, Deviljho, Magnamalo, and Legiana weapons, and it’ll be a great chance to collect monster materials.
In addition, the Hope weapons from Monster Hunter Wilds are making a comeback, this time with style customization available!
The event will also feature a 2.5-year anniversary hunter medal, guild card background, stickers, and more. Don’t miss it!
