Prepare your equipment through the Driftsmelting Bonanza and Upgrade Rush Quest events, then take on Riftcharged Radobaan! ▼ Season 8, Wave 3 begins on Feb. 16 (Mon) The riftcharged monster appearing at the end of Wave 3 will be Riftcharged Barioth! Starting in Wave 3, Riftborne Rathalos will also arrive, along with style selection for the lance. The Lunar New Year event, which also begins that day, will bring more Rathalos than usual, making it the perfect time to forge and upgrade fire element weapons, Rathalos’s elemental weakness, as you prepare for the arrival of Riftcharged Barioth!

Hunters, 2025 is nearly over, and once again we’re celebrating the New Year with A Happy Hunting New Year! This year’s New Year event is packed with new event-exclusive equipment and layered equipment. Work to complete the Global Challenge with hunters around the world and earn materials to forge and upgrade the event-exclusive weapon Wrapping Bow. The Wrapping Bow is a featured defense weapon in Base Defense, granting bonus points, so let’s all aim to obtain it together! During the event, slay rewards for all large monsters in the field and Elder Dragon Interception rewards will be increased. Make use of Monster Investigations and other features to gather as many materials as you need. In the second half of the event, only Elder Dragon Interceptions will occur at points where Hunt-a-thons and Interceptions usually occur. Additionally, the access range will be expanded by 50% at all times, making it much easier to join Interceptions! Take advantage of the New Year festivities to forge and upgrade your equipment!

Hunters, A brand-new season begins! During this event, the appearance rates of the monsters joining Season 8, Astalos, Goss Harag, and Quematrice, as well as the newly added Riftborne Khezu, will be boosted! One of the objectives of Season 8 will be to slay the riftcharged monster that appears in the final week of each month-long Wave (exploration period), starting with this event. First up is Riftcharged Rathian, arriving in January, so let’s prepare! Weapons forged from Astalos and Khezu materials, both of which appear more frequently in this event, are designated featured defense weapons, granting a bonus when used against riftcharged monsters. Hunters, Riftborne Magnamalo is the next riftborne monster to make its debut! This fearsome foe won’t go down easily, so be sure to take advantage of Dimensional Links, Hunt-a-thons, and group hunts to bring it down. At the same time, you’ll be able to customize the style of Magnamalo weapons. With more Magnamalo appearing than usual, this is the perfect chance to upgrade your weapons. Starting today, the fearsome Riftborne Deviljho has arrived! Weapons forged with its materials can now be upgraded with style customization, marking the first customizable dragon element weapons. To celebrate its debut, a special Deviljho quest is now available, and from September 26th (Fri) to September 28th (Sun), Riftborne Deviljho will appear en masse during an exploration base monster outbreak event!
