Hunters, To celebrate the arrival of the new riftborne monsters, Somnacanth and Banbaro, we’re holding a special event! Starting with the April 20 update, Riftborne Somnacanth and Riftborne Banbaro will appear, and weapons forged from their materials will become eligible for style customization! During this event, large monsters such as Somnacanth and Banbaro will appear more frequently, and event effects will make it easier to collect monster materials. Hunters, Ready for another Upgrade Rush Quest? This is your event for earning zenny and monster materials! During the event, you can collect items such as Shining Eggs, which can be exchanged for Zenny, through rewards from monster hunts, Hunt-a-thons, and Elder Dragon Interceptions. In addition, you’ll be able to collect even more monster materials thanks to increased large monster slay rewards and special limited-time quest rewards. Quest rewards also include Friend Link Tokens, so make use of Friend Link as you take on large monsters! There will also be a discount for the Search for this Species Again feature, so be sure to take advantage of it to upgrade your equipment. During the same period, Season 9 Wave 1 Base Defense will also be active. Make that final push on your upgrades and prepare to take on Riftcharged Rathalos!

Hunters, Read on to find out what’s happening during Season 9 Wave 2! Wave 2 begins on April 20th. Riftborne Somnacanth, Riftborne Banbaro, and charge blade style selection are all arriving with the start of this wave! In the final week’s Base Defense, Riftcharged Great Girros makes its appearance! Featured defense weapons will include weapons forged from Almudron and Somnacanth materials, as well as Nergigante materials to commemorate the launch of Friend Link. Prepare through each event and take on the challenge! The seasonal event, MH Now Spring Festival 2026, is also coming. During the Spring Festival, you can obtain an event-exclusive weapon, which will also be a featured defense weapon. Be sure to get one as an option for taking on Riftcharged Great Girros!

Hunters, Ready for another Driftsmelting Bonanza?! During this event, Seregios, Zinogre, Viper Tobi-Kadachi, Brute Tigrex, and more will be appearing more frequently. Group hunt rewards will also be boosted, so be sure to make use of Friend Link and hunt together with others! A new driftstone, Mysterious Driftstone O, is on the way. It may grant armor skills such as Morph Boost, Burst, and Critical Boost. In addition, a new Driftsmelting Quest will reward driftstone shards, which can help you obtain new skills! Riftcharged Rathalos is also coming soon to Base Defense. Prepare by using driftsmelting to add skills and further upgrade your equipment!

Hunters, Spring Riftborne Week, a special event featuring riftborne monsters, is just around the corner! During this event, riftborne monsters will appear more frequently. In addition, rewards for breaking special parts on riftborne monsters will be doubled. Breaking these special parts can grant riftborne materials, which are rare monster materials obtained from riftborne monsters. These materials are required for style selection and parameter unlocks in style customization. Take advantage of this opportunity to collect plenty of riftborne materials while rewards are doubled! During the event, new quests will be added daily from Monday through Saturday. These quests also reward riftborne materials, so don’t miss out. Hunters, Season 9: Skybound Scalestorm is now live! The weapon type, insect glaive, has arrived in Monster Hunter Now. Seregios, Almudron, and Viper Tobi-Kadachi have also been added, along with the newly introduced Riftborne Zinogre. In addition, Friend Link is now available, letting you hunt with friends no matter where you are. Grab your new weapon and dive into the hunts of the new season!

Hunters, The insect glaive is coming to Monster Hunter Now! The insect glaive is a weapon type that lets you command a Kinsect to empower yourself while hunting. It excels at leaping attacks and striking from midair. When attacking, the Kinsect harvests extract. Once the Extract Gauge fills, the hunter enters a charged state. In this state, combos change and more powerful attack actions become available. Kinsects vary by weapon, with differences in attack actions and damage type, such as severing or blunt. The Special Skill Descending Thrust (SP) can be activated even while attacking in midair, driving a powerful strike down from above the monster’s head. We’ve also prepared limited-time quests to help you make the most of the insect glaive. Master it and gain the upper hand in your hunts!

Hunters, A new season begins! During this event, monsters debuting in Season 9 will be appearing more frequently. Weapons forged from Seregios and Zinogre materials are featured defense weapons, so be sure to hunt them as much as you can! In addition, weapons forged from Kirin materials will also be featured defense weapons this Wave - a first for elder dragons! Throughout this event, only Elder Dragon Interceptions will occur at Hunt-a-thon/Elder Dragon Interception points, and Kirin will be appearing more frequently.
