2. New Feature: Cooking
Does something smell good in here? The beloved cooking feature from the Monster Hunter series has come to Monster Hunter Now!
◆ Overview
Cooking is a new feature that allows you to cook meat using Raw Meat, which can be obtained as a supply item in the in-game shop. Raw Meat can be cooked to make delicious Well-Done Steaks! Eating a Well-Done Steak will let you start a hunt with the Special Gauge at max for up to 5 minutes.
A botched cooking session will leave you with Raw Meat, Rare Steak, or Burnt Meat, but don’t fear—you can still use a Rare Steak or Burnt Meat to start a hunt with the Special Gauge at max for up to 1 minute.
*Well-Done Steak, Rare Steak, and Burnt Meat can only be used from the main screen or the hunt preparation screen. They cannot be used during a hunt.
*You can collect 2 pieces of Raw Meat daily from the in-game shop as a supply item. Raw Meat cannot be used in its uncooked state.
◆ Details
-
In the Cooking menu, set some Raw Meat and hold down the button to begin cooking. The meat will continue to cook for as long as you hold the button.
-
Listen carefully and release the button in time with the background music to get the perfect Well-Done Steak! However, releasing the button too early or too late will result in Raw Meat, Rare Steak, or Burnt Meat.
