The World of Monster Hunter Now

Habitats

Various habitats can be explored in Monster Hunter Now, including forests, deserts, swamps and tundras, with each habitat being home to different kinds of large monsters and gathering points.

Tap the habitat icon in the upper-left corner of the main screen to see what discoveries you can make in that area. Please note that this also includes information on large monsters that appear only during Hunt-a-thons or event periods.

Forest

Contains Vegetation (L) gathering points and large monsters home to that habitat.

Desert

Contains Bonepile (L) gathering points and large monsters home to that habitat.

Swamp

Contains Mining Outcrop (L) gathering points and large monsters home to that habitat.

Tundra

Contains Treefall (L) gathering points and large monsters home to that habitat.

Volatile territories may appear within each habitat, in which if you tap a large monster, a different large monster may suddenly invade.

You will only know if an invasion will occur when you tap a large monster in a volatile territory.

*Volatile territories have a different appearance from normal.
*Invasions will never occur when tapping riftborne monsters in volatile territories.
