Hunt With Others
Friend Quests
Friend Quests are weekly quests you can tackle with your friends. Work together with your teammates to progress through the quests and earn rewards.
Up to four players can participate in each quest. Once you clear a quest, you can repeat it up to five times during that week.
- Friend Quests are unlocked at Hunter Rank 12.
- You need a friend to start or join a quest.
- You can participate in one quest per week (the list resets every Thursday at 9:00 AM (local time)).
- There are three difficulty levels (Easy, Normal, Hard), and the rewards vary by quest.
*Note: Blocking or deleting a friend while participating in a quest will not remove them from that quest.
- Tap “Quests”
- Tap the “Friends” tab
- Select a quest from the Friend Quest list
- Start Quest: Start a new Friend Quest yourself
- Join Quest: Join a Friend Quest that has already been started
- Review the pop-up message and tap “Start” or “Join”
Note
- To participate together with a friend, one of you must start the quest, and the other must join that quest. Please note that if you both start separate quests, you will not be able to participate together until the weekly reset (every Thursday at 9:00 AM (local time)).
- Friend Quests cannot be stopped midway; they must be completed or will continue until the weekly reset.
- Once you join, only the selected Friend Quest will appear in the list.
- Participants may include not only your own friends but also friends of friends.
- After starting or joining a Friend Quest, tap the “Friends” tab for that quest.
- On the Friend Quest screen, tap “Invite Friends.”
- Select the friends you want to invite, then tap “Send invite”.
- On the confirmation screen, tap “Send Invite.”
Note
- You cannot send another invitation within 24 hours of sending a friend invitation.
- You cannot invite friends who are currently participating in other Friend Quests.
- Tap “Quests”
- Tap the “Friends” tab
- Tap the “>” button next to the Friend Quest
- On the screen that appears, you can check the quest’s progress, friend information, and who has contributed the most.
- Tap a hunter’s avatar to view detailed information.
- You can still view the details screen even after the Friend Quest has ended.
You can attempt Friend Quests up to five times. You can claim rewards for each attempt. If you join a quest partway through, you will only receive rewards for the number of attempts you participated in.
You can check your current attempt count on the quest card. Each time you clear the quest, the number of times you’ve cleared it will be displayed in a dialog box. After clearing it for the fifth time, red text will appear indicating that you have reached the maximum number of attempts.
Note
- If you do not claim your rewards after clearing a quest, it will not count toward the next round.
In Friend Quests, only hunters who have contributed to the quest can receive rewards.
If multiple hunters fulfill the quest conditions at the same time, contributions are counted based on the order in which they opened their Hunt Report.
Example:
If you successfully complete a group hunt with another Friend Quest participant while the quest “Slay a Large Monster” has only one remaining attempt, the hunter who opened their Hunt Report first will be counted as the contributor.
Additionally, even if you participate in a Friend Quest, you cannot receive rewards if you did not contribute. Upon quest completion, a message stating, “You did not contribute to this round of the Friend Quest, so you will not receive any rewards,” will be displayed.
The number of times you were a Friend Quest top contributor is displayed on your Guild Card, and is updated and reflected after the reset every Thursday, while also being visible to your friends.
During Friend Quests, a notification will appear when your progress reaches certain milestones.
There are three milestones: 30%, 50%, and 80%.
When you reach a milestone, a dialog box will appear in the game. If you reach a milestone while offline, you will receive a push notification informing you of your progress.
