A new season begins! During this event, monsters debuting in Season 9 will be appearing more frequently. Weapons forged from Seregios and Zinogre materials are featured defense weapons, so be sure to hunt them as much as you can!

In addition, weapons forged from Kirin materials will also be featured defense weapons this Wave - a first for elder dragons! Throughout this event, only Elder Dragon Interceptions will occur at Hunt-a-thon/Elder Dragon Interception points, and Kirin will be appearing more frequently.

Monster Appearances

Activity is expected to increase for the following monsters.

• Seregios
• Viper Tobi-Kadachi
• Almudron
• Zinogre (including Riftborne)

Elder Dragon Appearances

Activity is expected to increase for the following elder dragon at Elder Dragon Interception points.

• More rewards for group hunts

  • Guaranteed second slot of monster materials for group hunt rewards.

• More Elder Dragon Interceptions

  • Only Elder Dragon Interceptions will occur at points where both Elder Dragon Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons usually occur.

• Specific weapons and armor boosted

  • Equipment using materials from Seregios, Almudron, and Viper Tobi-Kadachi will be boosted.
  • The Bone Staff and Hard Bone Rod will be boosted.

Season 9 Kickoff: Special Field Hunt Ticket

By purchasing a Special Field Hunt Ticket, you can enjoy various bonuses to help you in your hunts! Exclusive quests will also be available only to ticket holders. Make the most of this ticket to enhance your hunting experience!

• Effects of the Special Field Hunt Ticket

  • Unlimited use of Paintballs.
  • Large monsters reappear in just 30 minutes.
  • The access range will be expanded by 50% at all times, and you will get double the materials from slaying small monsters and from gathering points.
    Cannot be combined with a Wander Orb, Wander Droplet, or Wander Powder.
  • Take on limited-time quests.
    No Hunter Medals will be awarded as quest rewards.

• During the following times, the only monsters that will appear on the field are: Seregios, Almudron, Viper Tobi-Kadachi, and Zinogre (including Riftborne).

  • 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.
  • 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
  • 9:00 – 10:00 p.m.

• Separate tickets will be available for Mar. 20 (Fri), Mar. 21 (Sat), Mar. 22 (Sun), Mar. 27 (Fri), Mar. 28 (Sat), and Mar. 29 (Sun).

• Ticket effects will apply from 9:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. (local time) on the corresponding date.

• Ticket sales for Mar. 20 (Fri), Mar. 21 (Sat), and Mar. 22 (Sun) are planned to begin around Mar. 19 (Thu).

• Ticket sales for Mar. 27 (Fri), Mar. 28 (Sat), and Mar. 29 (Sun) are planned to begin around Mar. 23 (Mon).

• Tickets can be purchased via the in-app Shop, the Special Quests tab, or the Web Store. Purchases made through the Web Store include a bonus Item Box Expansion.

• The Extreme Hunter Pass is also on sale, making unlimited Paintballs even more effective by increasing your Paintball list capacity by +20. Be sure to combine them for maximum benefit!

Insect Glaive Release Bonus

• Only for Special Field Hunt Ticket holders: Use 2 Special Carving Knives

Those who have a ticket will receive one more special bonus!
During the event, you can use up to 2 Special Carving Knives in a single hunt. Using 2 knives will triple the materials you receive, making it much easier to efficiently gather materials. Be sure to use them to get a head start on upgrading your insect glaive!

Limited-Time Quests

Take on limited-time quests that include slaying Seregios and Almudron. Complete them to earn materials for the target monster!
These quests reward more Season Tier Points than usual.

Premium Quests

Premium Quests are quests that can be unlocked by exchanging gems in the in-game shop. Complete these quests to earn valuable rewards!

Weapons Forgeable and Upgradeable with Zinogre Materials

Already imbued with powerful thunder element, Zinogre-material weapons become even stronger with style customization, and different style selections open up new movements. 14 weapon types, including the insect glaive, can be forged, so you can enjoy the hunt with your favorite weapon type.
The equipment skill Artful Dodger also lets you evade and seamlessly transition into an attack.

In-game, you’ll find recommended loadouts for dual blades, as well as for the heavy bowgun Crouching Shot style. Be sure to check them out!

Make the Most of Friend Link

Friend Link, making its debut in Season 9, allows you to invite friends to join hunts for monsters in your Paintball List or in Elder Dragon Interceptions. Since this event features Elder Dragon Interceptions only, you’ll have more opportunities to challenge Kirin via Friend Link, making it a great chance to gather materials.
For field monsters, be sure to use a Special Field Hunt Ticket, which lets you use unlimited Paintballs. Mark plenty of Seregios and Zinogre, both of which provide materials for featured defense weapons, and hunt them together with friends!

Additional Information

• All hunters who have completed the prologue can enjoy the event content.
• Event quests will automatically become available in the Special Quests tab to all hunters who have completed the prologue.
• Riftborne monsters will only start to appear after you have unlocked 8★ monsters on the field.
• Event quests will be available from Thursday, March 19th, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. – Sunday, March 29th, 2026, at 2:59 p.m. (UTC). Be sure to complete the quests and receive your rewards between these times.
