We’re excited to introduce a new feature: Friend Link.
Friend Link allows you to invite friends in faraway locations to join you in hunts from your Paintball List or in Elder Dragon Interceptions.
Whether you encounter a formidable monster during a walk or find a monster your friend has been looking for, this feature lets you enjoy hunting together, even when you’re apart.
At launch, invitations will be sent to online friends based on certain criteria, such as in the order of those you’ve hunted with most frequently.

How to Use Friend Link

Invite
- You can send invitations to online friends from the hunt prep screen of monsters in your Paintball List or from Elder Dragon Interceptions.

- To accept a Friend Link invitation, you must use a Friend Link Token.

- Daily supply items: 1
- Invite a friend to hunt from your Paintball List: 1
- Invite a friend to hunt from Elder Dragon Interceptions: 2
- Exchange for gems in the shop

Notes
- If 180 minutes have not passed since participating in an Elder Dragon Interception or Hunt-a-thon, you will be in a cooldown period. During this time, joining via Friend Link requires both a Friend Link Token and an Ultra Hunting Ticket.
- For monsters 7★ or below, you can join a limited number of times per day without consuming a Friend Link Token.
- There is a daily limit on the number of times you can join (up to 20 hunts that consume Friend Link Tokens).
- You can earn Friend Link Tokens from inviting friends up to three times per day. You cannot earn additional tokens once you exceed the possession limit.
- If you are at the possession limit, you will not earn a Friend Link Token when inviting friends, but your daily earnable count will not decrease.
- Tokens purchased in the shop are not subject to the daily earn limit or possession limit.
- The above details reflect the feature at launch. Specifications may change in future updates.

New Hunter Medal Added
A new hunter medal can be earned by slaying a certain number of monsters using Friend Link.
Campaign Information
To celebrate the release of Friend Link, we’ll be holding a campaign on the official Discord server where you can receive an offer redemption code. Simply react to the designated post in the server, and you’ll receive an offer redemption code via Discord DM that can be redeemed for in-game items.
The official Discord server supports Japanese and English only.

How to Participate
You must join the official Monster Hunter Now Discord server to participate. React to the designated post during the participation period to receive your reward!

An offer redemption code will be sent to you via Discord DM. Please ensure that “Allow direct messages from server members” is enabled in your Discord settings in advance.
