Hey hunters! This is the Monster Hunter Now Development Team. Starting with the upcoming Season 8, a new feature called Base Defense will debut, allowing hunters gathered at the same exploration base to work together and take on riftcharged monsters. These monsters are far more powerful than usual! Prepare your equipment and take on the riftcharged monster that appears at exploration bases during the final week of each Wave (month-long exploration period). Are you up for the challenge?

Hunters, Starting Monday, October 13th, 2025 at 12:00 a.m. UTC, the gift feature is getting an update, making it easier than ever to send gifts to your friends! On top of that, items like the Wander Orb and Tracker Scope have been added as giftable items. To celebrate the update, we’re running the Give & Get Campaign until Sunday, November 2nd at 11:59 p.m. UTC. During the campaign, any items you gift to a friend will also be granted to you! Hunters, Season 7: Advent of the Exploration Base is finally here! Espinas, Garangolm, and Lunagaron make their debut in Monster Hunter Now, with the fearsome Riftborne Deviljho joining the hunt as well! This season is packed with exciting content, including the official release of exploration bases, an update to style customization, and brand-new features to enjoy. Hunters, Exploration bases are officially launching with Season 7! Thank you for helping us with beta testing in July. With the full release, we’d like to share an overview of its features along with the improvements made based on beta feedback.

Hunters, With the fast-approaching beginning of autumn comes Season 7: Advent of the Exploration Base! This season brings more fierce foes: Espinas, Garangolm, and Lunagaron, plus the fearsome Riftborne Deviljho. We’ll welcome the official launch of exploration bases, which had only been available during beta tests until now, along with a new feature that makes it easier to encounter quest-target monsters in the field. On top of that, style customization, first introduced in Season 6, is receiving a major upgrade, and parameters will be boosted at each level. Style customization allows you to change your weapon’s style, altering its actions. Are you ready for a brand-new season of hunts?!

Hunters, Starting August 11th, a packed lineup of events awaits! Read all about them below. 1. A New Riftborne Monster Appears: Great Girros! You’ll now be able to access style customization for weapons that use Great Girros materials. 2. Style Selection Available for Great Swords! Following the sword & shield, long sword, and light bowgun, the great sword gets its own style options. Choose between a combo-heavy style or a counter-focused style to suit your strategy. 3. Event: Even Happier Great Sword Hunting! - Certain great swords and armor will be boosted during the event - More group hunt rewards - Exclusive quests: Take on unique challenges using specific types of great swords and armor 4. Rack up Zenny with event bonuses! During the Even Happier Great Sword Hunting! event, you’ll have a chance to get Shining, Gleaming, or Dazzling Eggs, which can be traded for Zenny in your Item Box. Stay cool and keep hunting together this summer!

Hunters, We’re seeing increased activity from Zinogre, Rajang, Tobi-Kadachi, Khezu, and Tzitzi-Ya-Ku, and Kirin has been spotted in Elder Dragon Interceptions! During this upcoming event, you’ll be able to obtain a new type of Mysterious Driftstone for slaying monsters. This driftstone can be used to grant the new skill, Timed Charger, or the existing skill, Headstrong, to your armor. On top of that, you’ll have a higher chance of receiving Crimson/Azure/Amber/Cyan/Pale Driftstones when slaying monsters other than the ones listed above. This is your chance to grab the driftstones you’ve been looking for more easily than usual! And don’t forget: the required walking distance for smelting driftstones obtained during the event is reduced from 5 km to just 1 km. Make the most of this opportunity to get smelting!

We’re launching a beta test for a new feature that is currently in development for Monster Hunter Now: Exploration Bases! Exploration bases are local landmarks that hunters can grow together by collecting Exploration Emblems (found at gathering points (L), etc.) and submitting exploration reports. Work with other hunters in your area to uplevel your base! To close out the test, the final two days will feature monster outbreaks at exploration bases. The higher the base’s level, the greater the slaying goal - but also the rewards! Your feedback during this beta period is incredibly valuable.
