Friend Link allows you to invite friends in faraway locations to join you in hunts from your Paintball List or in Elder Dragon Interceptions. Whether you encounter a formidable monster during a walk or find a monster your friend has been looking for, this feature lets you enjoy hunting together, even when you’re apart. At launch, invitations will be sent to online friends based on certain criteria, such as in the order of those you’ve hunted with most frequently. Hunters, With the arrival of spring, Season 9: Skybound Scalestorm is almost here! The wait is over! The insect glaive is finally coming to Monster Hunter Now. Command your Kinsect and unleash stylish midair attack actions as you take to the skies. Experience the exhilarating hunts that only Monster Hunter Now can deliver. Seregios, Almudron, and Viper Tobi-Kadachi will also make their first appearance in Monster Hunter Now. Riftborne Zinogre joins the hunt as well, and weapons forged from Zinogre materials can be upgraded through style customization. Friend Link also arrives, allowing you to team up with friends for a hunt no matter the distance. A new world of Monster Hunter Now begins! Take on formidable monsters you couldn’t slay alone and challenge newly added monsters together with friends. The hunt continues in Season 9!

Hunters, Get ready for another Driftsmelting Bonanza! During this event, you’ll find more frequent appearances of Goss Harag, Diablos, as well as Barioth, Barroth, and Jyuratodus. It’s the perfect chance to upgrade featured defense weapons and progress your weapon style customization! A new driftstone, Mysterious Driftstone M, also makes its debut. It may grant the brand-new skill Critical Range Boost to armor. Use driftsmelting to add new skills and upgrade your equipment even further!

Hunters, 2025 is nearly over, and once again we’re celebrating the New Year with A Happy Hunting New Year! This year’s New Year event is packed with new event-exclusive equipment and layered equipment. Work to complete the Global Challenge with hunters around the world and earn materials to forge and upgrade the event-exclusive weapon Wrapping Bow. The Wrapping Bow is a featured defense weapon in Base Defense, granting bonus points, so let’s all aim to obtain it together! During the event, slay rewards for all large monsters in the field and Elder Dragon Interception rewards will be increased. Make use of Monster Investigations and other features to gather as many materials as you need. In the second half of the event, only Elder Dragon Interceptions will occur at points where Hunt-a-thons and Interceptions usually occur. Additionally, the access range will be expanded by 50% at all times, making it much easier to join Interceptions! Take advantage of the New Year festivities to forge and upgrade your equipment!

Hunters, Season 8: Interdimensional Defenders is now live! Astalos, Quematrice, and Goss Harag join Monster Hunter Now, and Khezu also joins us as a new riftborne monster. Plus, a brand-new feature, Base Defense, is here! Team up with hunters gathered at the same exploration base and take on powerful riftcharged monsters. A new era of hunting begins!

Hey hunters! This is the Monster Hunter Now Development Team. Starting with the upcoming Season 8, a new feature called Base Defense will debut, allowing hunters gathered at the same exploration base to work together and take on riftcharged monsters. These monsters are far more powerful than usual! Prepare your equipment and take on the riftcharged monster that appears at exploration bases during the final week of each Wave (month-long exploration period). Are you up for the challenge?

Hunters, Winter is nearly here and with it comes Season 8: Interdimensional Defenders Astalos, Quematrice, and Goss Harag make their first appearance in Monster Hunter Now, alongside Riftborne Khezu! At exploration bases, new Base Defense events begin. Team up with fellow hunters in your area to take on powerful riftcharged monsters together. Dive into a new season and join the hunt!

Hunters, Starting Monday, October 13th, 2025 at 12:00 a.m. UTC, the gift feature is getting an update, making it easier than ever to send gifts to your friends! On top of that, items like the Wander Orb and Tracker Scope have been added as giftable items. To celebrate the update, we’re running the Give & Get Campaign until Sunday, November 2nd at 11:59 p.m. UTC. During the campaign, any items you gift to a friend will also be granted to you! Perfect for taking on the newly appearing Riftborne Magnamalo that same day! Make sure to take this chance to send a gift to your friends!

Espinas, Garangolm, and Lunagaron make their debut in Monster Hunter Now, with the fearsome Riftborne Deviljho joining the hunt as well!
