Season 7: Advent of the Exploration Base is finally here!

Espinas, Garangolm, and Lunagaron make their debut in Monster Hunter Now, with the fearsome Riftborne Deviljho joining the hunt as well! This season is packed with exciting content, including the official release of exploration bases, an update to style customization, and brand-new features to enjoy.

Discover the following monsters in Monster Hunter Now:

  • Espinas

    • Espinas will appear on the field in low numbers.

Riftborne Deviljho Appears

Deviljho arrives as a new riftborne monster! With this, it will now be possible to customize the style of Deviljho weapons.

  • Riftborne Deviljho will start to appear from Sep 22 (Mon), at 12:00 a.m. (UTC).

Style Customization Update

Introduced in Season 6, style customizations are getting a major upgrade! With this update, weapons that have been sufficiently customized will gain a special visual effect, and the parameters that increase at each level have been buffed, allowing fully customized weapons to reach the max strength of currently available equipment.

In addition, you can also take on special quests designed to help players learn about style customization through play. All the more reason to try customizing your favorite weapons!

Official Release of Exploration Bases

Exploration bases have officially launched! For the official release, we’ve made adjustments with privacy in mind and improved the ease of submitting exploration reports.
At exploration bases, monster outbreaks will occur regularly. On Sep 26 (Fri), 27 (Sat), and 28 (Sun), Riftborne Deviljho will appear, so get ready to get out there and hunt as many as you can!

Featured Monster Investigations: Find your desired monsters more easily!

Have you ever wished you could hunt more of a specific monster, or felt frustrated that with so many types appearing, it’s hard to find the one you really want?
The new Featured Monster Investigations feature is here to help! By selecting a Monster Investigation option, you’ll have a much higher chance of encountering the monster you choose. Choose the investigation that targets the monster you’re after and make the most of your hunts!

Reduced Material Requirements for Weapons

The amount of materials required to forge and upgrade most weapons has been reduced. This is a great opportunity to forge and upgrade weapons you haven’t tried before, so you can head out to the hunt with different options!

Weapons that are primarily forged or upgraded with the following monsters’ materials will be eligible:

  • Great Jagras / Kulu-Ya-Ku / Pukei-Pukei / Paolumu / Legiana / Diablos / Rathalos / Banbaro / Tzitzi-Ya-Ku / Odogaron / Basarios / Khezu / Aknosom / Magnamalo / Lagombi / Volvidon / Somnacanth / Chatacabra / Arzuros / Great Wroggi / Bishaten / Beotodus
  • Pink Rathian / Black Diablos / Azure Rathalos / Coral Pukei-Pukei / Nightshade Paolumu / Ebony Odogaron

Additionally, weapons forged and upgraded mainly with Ores will also be eligible.

Monster Unlock Quests

New monster unlock quests feature the monsters that were added in Season 6. Complete them and the slain monster will now appear on the field permanently. Monster unlock quests become available once you have completed the pre-season story.

Eligible monsters from Scarlet Gaze in the Gloam:

  • Great Wroggi
  • Bishaten
  • Beotodus
  • Fulgur Anjanath
  • Nargacuga

New Skills

Try out some new skills with the armor that can be forged and upgraded from monsters added in this update!

  • Skill: Pursuit
    Effect: Increases the damage of an attack that breaks a body part for the first time during a hunt.

  • Skill: Ballistics
    Effect: Increases the Critical Range of your ammo/arrows.

  • Skill: Reckless
    Effect: Increases damage but makes you unable to perform perfect evades.

  • Skill: Defender
    Effect: Allows you to guard against attacks that usually cannot be blocked.

  • Skill: Vital Fire
    Effect: Increases weapon’s fire element value according to your remaining health.

  • Skill: Vital Ice
    Effect: Increases weapon’s ice element value according to your remaining health.

Get the Season 7 Pass

Get your hands on a new Season Pass for Season 7!
With the Premium Plan, you can unlock rewards early on at Tier 1 and Tier 2, including +1,000 Item Box Expansion and 4 Special Carving Knives. As you progress through the tiers, you’ll also earn a new pose for your Guild Card, materials from Season 7 monsters, as well as materials from Riftborne Great Girros and Riftborne Radobaan that are required for style changes.

With the beginning of Season 7, you can no longer raise your Season 6 tier but you will still be able to claim any rewards for a period of time.
