Ready for another Upgrade Rush Quest? This is your event for earning zenny and monster materials!

During the event, you can collect items such as Shining Eggs, which can be exchanged for Zenny, through rewards from monster hunts, Hunt-a-thons, and Elder Dragon Interceptions.

In addition, you’ll be able to collect even more monster materials thanks to increased large monster slay rewards and special limited-time quest rewards. Quest rewards also include Friend Link Tokens, so make use of Friend Link as you take on large monsters!

There will also be a discount for the Search for this Species Again feature, so be sure to take advantage of it to upgrade your equipment.

During the same period, Season 9 Wave 1 Base Defense will also be active. Make that final push on your upgrades and prepare to take on Riftcharged Rathalos!

Activity is expected to increase for the following monsters.

Only the following will appear at Elder Dragon Interception points.

Event Effects

• More slay rewards for large monsters

  • Receive two of each material in the first and second slots of basic rewards when slaying featured monsters.

• More rewards for Hunt-a-thons

  • Receive two of each material in the first and second slots of basic rewards.
  • Chance of receiving 10 additional Rarity 1 materials from the slain monster.

• More rewards for Elder Dragon Interceptions

  • Receive two of each material in the first to fourth slots of basic rewards.

• Chance to collect Shining Eggs and more

  • Chance of Shining Egg or Gleaming Egg as a reward for slaying one of the featured monsters on the field.
  • Chance of Gleaming Egg or Dazzling Egg as a reward for Hunt-a-thons and for slaying or repelling elder dragons in Elder Dragon Interceptions.

Eggs can be exchanged for Zenny by tapping the button to the right of the sort function in your Item Box. For details on how to exchange them, check out the FAQ.

Season 9 Wave 2 Upgrade Rush Quest Special Field Hunt Ticket

By purchasing a Special Field Hunt Ticket, you can enjoy various bonuses to help you in your hunts! Exclusive quests will also be available only to ticket holders. Make the most of this ticket to enhance your hunting experience!

• Effects of the Special Field Hunt Ticket

  • Unlimited use of Paintballs.
  • Large monsters reappear in just 30 minutes.
  • The access range will be expanded by 50% at all times, and you will get double the materials from slaying small monsters and from gathering points.
    Cannot be combined with a Wander Orb, Wander Droplet, or Wander Powder.
  • Take on limited-time quests.
    No Hunter Medals will be awarded as quest rewards.

• During the following times, the only monsters that will appear on the field are: Seregios and Zinogre (including Riftborne).

  • 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
  • 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
  • 8:00 – 9:00 p.m.

• Separate tickets will be available for Apr. 17 (Fri), Apr. 18 (Sat), and Apr. 19 (Sun).

• Ticket effects will apply from 9:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. (local time) on the corresponding date.

• Ticket sales are planned to begin around Apr. 13 (Mon).

• Tickets can be purchased via the in-app Shop, the Special Quests tab, or the Web Store. Purchases made through the Web Store include a bonus Item Box Expansion.

• The Extreme Hunter Pass is also on sale, making unlimited Paintballs even more effective by increasing your Paintball list capacity by +20. Be sure to combine them for maximum benefit!

• Appearances of volatile territories on the field can be unlocked by completing the pre-season story.
• The pre-season story refers to the period from the end of the prologue to the completion of Chapter 13: Sunderer of the Skies.
• Event quests will be available from Monday, April 13th, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. – Sunday, April 19th, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (local time). Be sure to complete the quests and receive your rewards between these times.
