Spring Riftborne Week, a special event featuring riftborne monsters, is just around the corner!
During this event, riftborne monsters will appear more frequently. In addition, rewards for breaking special parts on riftborne monsters will be doubled.
Breaking these special parts can grant riftborne materials, which are rare monster materials obtained from riftborne monsters. These materials are required for style selection and parameter unlocks in style customization. Take advantage of this opportunity to collect plenty of riftborne materials while rewards are doubled!
During the event, new quests will be added daily from Monday through Saturday. These quests also reward riftborne materials, so don’t miss out.
Friend Link was also introduced in Season 9, allowing you to send group hunt invites to friends. Why not try inviting some friends when challenging riftborne monsters you’ve marked with Paintballs?

About Special Part Break Rewards
When you successfully slay a riftborne monster after breaking its special part, you can receive monster materials as part break rewards. During the event, these special part break rewards will be doubled.

Limited-Time Quests: Spring Riftborne Week
Take on limited-time quests that include slaying Zinogre or Rathalos. Complete these quests to earn materials from the target monsters as well as Friend Link Tokens and other rewards.

From Monday, March 30th to Saturday, April 4th, quests requiring the slaying of riftborne monsters will be added daily. Complete these quests to earn riftborne materials.
- These quests are available to hunters who have completed the pre-season story.

Premium Quests are quests that can be unlocked by exchanging gems in the in-game shop. Complete these quests to earn valuable rewards!

Additional Information
- All hunters who have completed the prologue can enjoy the event content.
- Event quests will automatically become available in the Special Quests tab to all hunters who have completed the prologue.
- Appearances of volatile territories on the field can be unlocked by completing the pre-season story.
- The pre-season story refers to the period from the end of the prologue to the completion of Chapter 13: Sunderer of the Skies.
- Riftborne monsters will only start to appear after you have unlocked 8★ monsters on the field.
- During the pre-season story, appearance rates of large monsters will be adjusted based on your story progression.
- Deviljho will appear more frequently in volatile territories.
- During the event, Bazelgeuse will not appear in volatile territories.
- Volatile territories will not occur more frequently during the event.
- See in-game for details of Event Quest availability. Be sure to complete the quests and receive your rewards between these times.
