The elder dragon event Banquet of Calamity is coming!

During the event period, only Elder Dragon Interceptions will appear at Hunt-a-thon / Elder Dragon Interception points. In addition, the access range will be expanded by 50% at all times, making it easier to participate in Elder Dragon Interceptions and hunt monsters on the field!

Malzeno will appear more frequently in Elder Dragon Interceptions! The Malzeno Set features skills that increase dragon element attack power. Forge and upgrade this armor, alongside weapons forged from Stygian Zinogre materials, which are dragon element weapons and also featured defense weapons. Stygian Zinogre will also appear more frequently on the field, making this the perfect chance to upgrade your dragon element equipment in preparation for Base Defense!

In addition, a new daily event quest will be available each day throughout the event. By using Friend Link to slay or repel elder dragons, you can earn Friend Link Tokens and Tracker Scopes as rewards.

Challenge elder dragons with your friends every day and upgrade your elder dragon equipment!

• Rathalos (including Riftborne)
• Diablos (including Riftborne)
• Legiana (including Riftborne)
• Jyuratodus (including Riftborne)
• Chatacabra
• Bazelgeuse (including Riftborne)

Event Effects

• More rewards for group hunts

  • Guaranteed second slot of monster materials for group hunt rewards.

• More rewards for Elder Dragon Interceptions

  • Receive two of each material in the first to fourth slots of basic rewards.

• More Elder Dragon Interceptions

  • Only Elder Dragon Interceptions will occur at points where both Elder Dragon Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons usually occur.

• Access range increased by 50%

• Double materials for slaying small monsters and at gathering points

Limited-Time Quests: Banquet of Calamity

Take on limited-time quests that include slaying or repelling Namielle and Malzeno. Complete them to earn materials such as Namielle Whiskers and Malzeno Horns.

Take on daily rotating quests during the event period! By using Friend Link to slay or repel elder dragons, you can earn Friend Link Tokens and Tracker Scopes.

Additional Information

• All hunters who have completed the prologue can enjoy the event content.
• Event quests will automatically become available in the Special Quests tab to all hunters who have completed the prologue.
• Riftborne monsters will only start to appear after you have unlocked 8★ monsters on the field.
• Appearances of volatile territories on the field can be unlocked by completing the pre-season story.
• The pre-season story refers to the period from the end of the prologue to the completion of Chapter 13: Sunderer of the Skies.
• Wander Orbs, Wander Droplets, and Wander Powder cannot be used during the event.
• Bazelgeuse will appear more frequently in volatile territories.
• During the event, Deviljho will not appear in volatile territories.
• Volatile territories will not occur more frequently during the event.
• Event quests will be available from Monday, June 29th, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. – Sunday, July 5th, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (local time). Be sure to complete the quests and receive your rewards between these times.
