Amatsu Arrives!

Elder dragons that can manipulate the weather and are able to conjure up unrelenting gales. Amatsu glide through the air on currents they create using their wing membrane, making it look as if they’re dancing in the sky. The storms they summon are extremely destructive and can lay entire cities to waste, thus they are known as the “Looming Calamity.” When enraged, their storms become even more violent, enveloping the area with unrelenting lightning strikes.

Attack the Dimensional Carapace Using the Machine Cannon
Use the Machine Cannon, a Hunting Installation on the field, to attack Amatsu’s Dimensional Carapace! Damaging the Dimensional Carapace will give you an advantage when you face Amatsu directly.

Defend Exploration Bases Against Amatsu!
Amatsu frequently uses wide-range attacks that take advantage of its massive size. However, its sweeping attacks are easy to read, so stay calm and respond accordingly. After it roars, its attacks become more ferocious—including long-range lightning strikes—so focusing on evasion becomes even more essential.
Additionally, if it begins to build up power while arching its back, this signals that it’s about to unleash a major attack. During this time, it will try to pull you closer, and once it finishes charging, it will unleash a massive tornado; therefore, if you want to play it safe, it’s recommended to quickly put some distance between you and the monster.
On the other hand, dealing a certain amount of damage while it’s charging up will cause it to cease attacking. As such, if you have confidence in your attack power, it’s sometimes worth trying to land a few extra hits.

You can also use the Machine Cannon when intercepting it directly by filling its gauge, so make good use of it to gain the upper hand!

Riftborne Nargacuga Arrives!

Nargacuga is a formidable monster known for its incredible speed. Its agility will make it even harder to target the special part that appears under the influence of abnormal rifts. Anticipating its swift movements and carefully targeting this special part will be the key to taking it down.

Plus, material requirements for upgrading this equipment will be reduced throughout the event!

This is the same equipment available at Monster Hunter Now Carnival 2026 Osaka. If you’ve already obtained it, you won’t be able to obtain it again.
If you’ve already forged this equipment during Monster Hunter Now Carnival 2026 Osaka, the event boosts will still apply during the Global Event.

Event-exclusive weapons will be available for every weapon type.

Upgrading Event-Exclusive Equipment

During Monster Hunter Now Carnival 2026 Global, material requirements for upgrading event-exclusive equipment will be significantly reduced. You’ll be able to upgrade this equipment to a certain grade using only Carnival 2026 Upgrade Tickets, without needing zenny, gatherable materials, or other resources. Make the most of the event to upgrade your exclusive equipment as you hunt!

Unlocking style selection for event-exclusive weapons requires only 1 Wyvern Scarcestone. No riftborne materials are needed.
Style customization for event-exclusive weapons is limited to Lv5.
Carnival 2026 Upgrade Tickets can be obtained as rewards from slaying large monsters, slaying or repelling elder dragons, and completing certain quests.
Once the reduced material requirements period ends, Carnival 2026 Upgrade Tickets will no longer be required, but the types and quantities of other materials needed for upgrades will increase.
Check in-game for the exact dates of the reduced material requirements period.

Amatsu Appearance Times
Amatsu will appear three times a day at set times.

Each appearance is divided into two phases:

Use the Hunting Installation Machine Cannon to attack the Dimensional Carapace.
Amatsu attacks exploration bases, where hunters can intercept it directly. You can attempt the hunt as many times as you like during this phase.

First Appearance

11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Attack the Dimensional Carapace using the Machine Cannon.
12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.: Defend exploration bases against Amatsu.

Second Appearance

2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Attack the Dimensional Carapace using the Machine Cannon.
3:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.: Defend exploration bases against Amatsu.

Third Appearance

4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.: Attack the Dimensional Carapace using the Machine Cannon.
5:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Defend exploration bases against Amatsu.

Mysterious Driftstone (Carnival 2026) offers a chance to add skills such as Critical Boost, Critical Eye, Weakness Exploit, and Latent Power to your armor. With a lineup of skills that boost affinity, this driftstone is a perfect match for equipment loadouts featuring Nargacuga weapons, which already boast high affinity. Make the most of it!

Limited-Time MH Now Carnival 2026 Global: Gathering Quest

Take on limited-time quests that involve collecting Odd Monster Tracks from gathering points. Complete these quests to earn event-exclusive equipment forging tickets, accessory forging tickets, event equipment upgrade tickets, an exclusive hunter medal, and more!
