Read on to find out what’s happening during Season 10 Wave 3.
With Wave 3 beginning on August 17th, Riftborne Mizutsune and Riftborne Paolumu, as well as style selection for the insect glaive will all arrive at the start of the event!
Then, in Base Defense, get ready to face off against Riftcharged Glavenus! The featured defense weapons for this event include weapons forged from Shogun Ceanataur, Mizutsune, and Paolumu materials. Prepare through each of the event activities, upgrade your equipment, and get ready for the challenge.
The seasonal event Summer of Hunters 2026 is also on the way! During this event, you’ll be able to forge and upgrade an event-exclusive gunlance, with style customization also available. It will also be a featured defense weapon, so be sure to forge it as one of your options for taking on Riftcharged Glavenus! Stay tuned for more details.
To top things off, Season 10 is almost at its grand finale, and on September 14, Monster Hunter Now celebrates its 3rd anniversary! We’re planning a variety of special celebrations and anniversary events, so stay tuned for more details coming soon.

Mizutsune and Paolumu arrive as new riftborne monsters! With this, it will now be possible to customize the style of their weapons.
And for a limited time only, you’ll need fewer materials to forge and upgrade Mizutsune and Paolumu weapons!
Style Selection Unlocked: Insect Glaive
Get ready to change up the style of your insect glaive with style customization!
[Kinsect Slash]
A style that excels at airborne attacks with Forward Roundslash and Kinsect Slash.
[Awakened Kinsect Attack]
A style that makes use of extract to perform Awakened Kinsect Attack.
- Depending on the style you select, long-press actions and combos will change, offering different ways to use each weapon.
- Check the release notes on the day to read more about the styles.
- Only weapons that can be forged or upgraded with materials from riftborne monsters are eligible for style customization. Check eligible weapons with the filter on the equipment menu.

- You must sign up to participate and slay at least 1 target monster at the base and during the time slot you signed up for.
- Awarded after the time slot ends.
- Medal is awarded only once per Wave.

Conditions for Receiving Goal Rewards
Rewards can be obtained if the following conditions are met:
- Submit at least one exploration report at that exploration base between the start of the Wave and the end of the monster outbreak.
- Slay at least one target monster at that base.
Rewards can be earned each time the goal is achieved during an outbreak period. Rewards are granted after each time slot ends.
Even if the conditions are met at multiple exploration bases during the same time window, rewards can only be claimed from one exploration base.
