Season 10 is entering its final stretch! To celebrate, we’re kicking off the Season 10 Climax event.

During this event, monsters introduced in Season 10 will once again appear more frequently, and you’ll earn more rewards for slaying them! Be sure to hunt plenty of Shogun Ceanataur, Mizutsune, and Paolumu to collect the materials needed to forge and upgrade the featured weapons that excel against Riftcharged Glavenus.

This event also features Challenge Quests, available only on Saturday, September 12th, and Sunday, September 13th. Complete them to earn Rarity 6 materials, including Mizutsune Plates, as well as Armor Refining Parts.

In addition, throughout the event, all field monsters of 2★ or higher will be guaranteed to drop Shining Eggs and more as slay rewards, instead of only certain featured monsters having a chance to do so. What’s more, 10★ field monsters and 10★ monsters in Hunt-a-thons are guaranteed to reward either a Gleaming Egg or a Dazzling Egg. Take on these formidable monsters and earn plenty of zenny!

Mysterious Driftstones introduced in Season 10 are also making a return! Use driftsmelting to add skills such as Stunning Impact, Pursuit, and Retaliation to your equipment.

Finally, Season 10 Wave 3 Base Defense will run from September 7th to September 15th. Upgrade your equipment, take on Riftcharged Glavenus, and finish Season 10 in style!

Event Effects

• Increased rewards for slaying featured monsters

  • Receive two of each material in the first and second slots of basic rewards.

• More rewards for Hunt-a-thons

  • Receive two of each material in the first and second slots of basic rewards.
  • Chance of receiving 10 additional Rarity 1 materials from the slain monster.
  • Guaranteed fifth slot
    • Chance of receiving a Rarity 6 material in the fifth slot will be greatly increased to 20% (only for 8★+ monsters).

• Daily Quest reward increase

  • Receive double rewards from Daily Quests distributed between Monday, September 7th, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. and Wednesday, September 16th, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (local time).
    • Extra quests received through the Extreme Hunter Pass are also eligible.

• Driftstone bonus

  • Chance of receiving Mysterious Driftstone R, S, or T from all large monsters.
    • Guaranteed to receive one from the featured monsters (regular driftstones will not drop).
    • Chance of receiving Mysterious Driftstone R, S, T, or a Crimson / Azure / Amber / Cyan / Pale / Black Driftstone from all large monsters, excluding the featured monsters.
  • Distance required for driftsmelting with driftstones obtained during this event period reduced to 1 km.

• Guaranteed to collect Shining Eggs and more
  • Check the table to see what you can get.

• The rewards available are the same from monsters that appear in the field and from Hunt-a-thons.
• Elder Dragon Interceptions are guaranteed to reward either a Gleaming Egg or a Dazzling Egg.
• Hunt-a-thons will feature monsters of 4★ or higher.

Limited-Time Quests

Event quests change based on the strength of monsters appearing on the field

The limited-time quests for the Season 10 Climax event will vary depending on the strength (★) of monsters appearing on the field.

1. Hunters with 8★ or higher monsters appearing on the field
2. Hunters with 7★ or lower monsters appearing on the field

Here’s a look at some of the rewards you can earn by completing the quests!

• Aside from the rewards listed above, you can earn the same materials and zenny in both quest types.

Quests distributed to group 1 are more challenging than those for group 2, featuring objectives such as slaying an 8★ or higher Mizutsune or Paolumu.

• By completing the season story, you can unlock monsters with higher ★ levels than the monster that appeared in the final urgent quest of the story.
• You can check the strength of field monsters not only by the ★ level of monsters appearing in the field, but also by the monster strength available in the Monster Tracker.

• Even if you unlock 8★ monsters during the event period, the Season 10 Climax quest lineup will not change.

During the event, if you run short on Rarity 2 or Rarity 3 gatherable materials needed for equipment upgrades, you can use gems to replenish them.

Season 10 Climax: Special Hunt-a-thon Ticket

By purchasing a Special Hunt-a-thon Ticket, you can enjoy various bonuses to help you in your hunts! Exclusive quests will also be available only to ticket holders. Make the most of this ticket to enhance your hunting experience!

• Effects of the Special Hunt-a-thon Ticket

  • Only Mizutsune (including Riftborne) will appear in Hunt-a-thons.
  • Receive 3 Limited Ultra Hunting Tickets.
  • Large monsters reappear in just 30 minutes.
  • The access range will be expanded by 50% at all times, and you will get double the materials from slaying small monsters and from gathering points.
    Cannot be combined with a Wander Orb, Wander Droplet, or Wander Powder.
  • Take on limited-time quests.
    No Hunter Medals will be awarded as quest rewards.

• Separate tickets will be available for Sep. 9 (Wed) through Sep. 13 (Sun).

• You will receive 3 Limited Ultra Hunting Tickets as a bonus on purchasing.

  • These can be used from Sep. 9 (Wed) at 9:00 a.m. (local time).

• Special Hunt-a-thon Ticket effects will apply from 9:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. (local time) on the corresponding date.

• Ticket sales are planned to begin around Sep. 7 (Mon).

• Tickets can be purchased via the in-app Shop, the Special Quests tab, or the Web Store. Purchases made through the Web Store include a bonus Item Box Expansion.

• Limited Ultra Hunting Tickets are valid until Sep. 13 (Sun) at 11:59 p.m. (local time)

These allow you to immediately join a Hunt-a-thon or Elder Dragon Interception, even while the cooldown timer is active. They can only be used during the event, so be sure to make use of them when challenging monsters whose equipment you’re looking to forge or upgrade!

Additional Information

• All hunters who have completed the prologue can enjoy the event content.
• Event quests will automatically become available in the Special Quests tab to all hunters who have completed the prologue.
• Riftborne monsters will only start to appear after you have unlocked 8★ monsters on the field.
• Bazelgeuse will appear more frequently in volatile territories.
• During the event, Deviljho will not appear in volatile territories.
• Volatile territories will not occur more frequently during the event.
• Driftsmelting can be unlocked by completing the pre-season story.
• The pre-season story refers to the period from the end of the prologue to the completion of Chapter 13: Sunderer of the Skies.
• Event quests will be available from Monday, September 7th, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. – Tuesday, September 15th, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (local time). Be sure to complete the quests and receive your rewards between these times.
• Driftstones can be obtained when you have space to store new ones.
• The distance required to smelt a driftstone acquired before the event period will remain the same even if it is smelted during the event period, but the distance required for a driftstone acquired by hunting a monster during the event period will remain 1 km after the event period ends.
• The distance required to smelt driftgems obtained by exchanging driftstone shards will remain the same during the event.
