It's time to celebrate with the Monster Hunter Now 1st Anniversary!!

It’s an exciting time in Monster Hunter Now—a new season is around the corner AND we’re celebrating our first anniversary!

This event will spotlight the monsters newly introduced in the Season 3 update on September 12th—Magnamalo, Aknosom, and Rajang—allowing you to fully experience the thrill of hunting these mighty monsters. There will also be limited-time quests rewarding an exclusive hunter medal marking the first anniversary, as well as layered equipment, and more.

Get ready to head out and hunt in this epic anniversary event!

Monster Hunter Now 1st Anniversary

Dates and Times:

From Thursday, September 12th, 2024, at 12:00 a.m. until Sunday, September 22nd, 2024, at 2:59 p.m. UTC

Event Details:

Here’s what to look out for in this event:

• Increased appearances of Magnamalo in swamp habitats, Aknosom in forest habitats, and Rajang in desert habitats.

• Appearances of Magnamalo in forest and desert habitats, Aknosom in swamp habitats, and Rajang in forest and swamp habitats.
  *Rajang will appear in forest and swamp habitats in low numbers.

• By defeating Aknosom and Magnamalo in the field, you will be able to select them in the Monster Tracker.
  *Rajang cannot be selected in the Monster Tracker.

• More monsters will appear across the field.

• You will be able to select the following monster subspecies in the Monster Tracker, and they will also have a low chance of appearing in the field:
  Pink Rathian, Azure Rathalos, Black Diablos, Coral Pukei-Pukei.
  *The number of hunts required to discover these subspecies is higher than usual.
  *After the event ends, you will no longer be able to select them in the Monster Tracker.

• Limited-time quests will include tasks for slaying large monsters. Complete them to earn monster materials including an Aknosom Crest and Magnamalo Plate, as well as gatherable materials and more. Make it to the end to net yourself 3 Wyvern Gem Shards and a Gold Rajang Pelt!

Additional Information:

*During the event period, all hunters who have completed the prologue can enjoy the event’s content.
*Please note that using the Monster Tracker between 5:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. on the day of the event will reduce the number of times you can use it for the rest of that day.
*After the event ends, Magnamalo, Aknosom, and Rajang will only appear on the field once you have unlocked them in urgent quests that occur within each chapter of the Season 3 story quest. Additionally, all but Rajang will be selectable with the Monster Tracker.
*Event quests will automatically become available in the Special Quests tab to all hunters who have completed the prologue.
*Quests will be available from Thursday, September 12th, 2024, at 12:00 a.m. until Sunday, September 22nd, 2024, at 2:59 p.m. UTC. Be sure to complete the quests and receive your rewards between these times.
