The 3rd Anniversary celebration begins! Get ready for three exciting days packed with rewards!
The MH Now 3rd Anniversary Prologue features three special events to enjoy while counting down to the launch of Season 11.
In addition to the effects currently active during the Season 10 Climax event, the following bonus will also be available:
- Large monsters will reappear in just 30 minutes.
Hunt-a-thons and Elder Dragon Interceptions will also be available 24/7 starting with the Prologue event. For more details, please see Hunt-a-thons & Elder Dragon Interceptions Available 24/7.
During the following time slots on Monday, September 14th, and Tuesday, September 15th, only specific monsters will appear.

A new Countdown Quest will be available each day until Season 11 begins! Complete these quests to earn rewards such as Paintballs and Limited Ultra Hunting Tickets.
- Limited Ultra Hunting Tickets expire on Wednesday, September 16th, at 11:59 p.m. (UTC). Any unused tickets will be automatically removed after they expire.
- Each Countdown Quest is available for 24 hours. Be sure to complete it and claim your rewards before it expires.

Take on a limited-time quest featuring objectives such as slaying Bazelgeuse. Complete the quest to earn rewards including a Tracker Scope, the Bazelgeuse rarity 6 material Bazelgeuse Plate, and the riftborne material Bazelgeuse Riftscale.

During the Prologue event, you can use up to two Special Carving Knives after a single hunt. Using two Special Carving Knives triples the materials you receive, making it easier to collect monster materials! It’s the perfect opportunity to gather materials from monsters introduced in Season 10.

Throughout the Prologue and 3rd Anniversary event, you’ll be able to take on Hunt-a-thons and Elder Dragon Interceptions at any time! This may make it easier for hunters to match with others who normally have time zone differences or those with different daily schedules. Enjoy hunting together with hunters from around the world!

Celebrate the 3rd Anniversary with a free grade 10 Lv1 weapon! You can choose from four element options: fire, water, thunder, or ice. Select one weapon forged from Rathalos, Mizutsune, Zinogre, or Legiana materials and add a powerful new weapon to your lineup. Take on monsters that were once too difficult to defeat, or make your everyday hunts even smoother with your new weapon.
- If you already own the selected weapon at grade 10 Lv1 or higher, you cannot choose that weapon.
- If you already own the selected weapon below grade 10 Lv1, choosing it will upgrade it to Grade 10 Lv1. You cannot own two copies of the same weapon.

To celebrate the 3rd Anniversary, we’ll be giving away 5 Guardian Set Forging Tickets, which can be used to forge the Guardian Set. The Guardian Set comes equipped with skills that are especially helpful for new hunters! Pair it with your free grade 10 weapon and take on the newly arriving monsters, along with a wide variety of other hunts. Be sure to log in during the event to claim your rewards!

Rental Sets are here, letting you try out pre-selected equipment during certain hunts! During this event, you’ll be able to try ice element and non-element/status ailment loadouts. With Rental Sets available for all 14 weapon types, now’s the perfect time to experiment with different weapons and styles! Rental Sets can also serve as a helpful reference when deciding what equipment to forge for yourself.
To celebrate the arrival of Rental Sets, a new quest will be available every day from Thursday, September 17th through Wednesday, September 30th. Try out different equipment and complete the quests!
- Rental Sets can only be used a limited number of times each day.
- The quests can be completed without using a Rental Set.

To celebrate the 3rd Anniversary, event weapons from past events are making a return! During the event, you’ll be able to forge them using Reissue Forging Tickets (3rd Anniv.). In addition, during the period below, the materials required to upgrade these weapons will be significantly reduced. Up to a certain grade, you’ll only need Reissue Upgrade Tickets (3rd Anniv.), so no zenny or gatherable materials required. Whether you’re a new hunter or still upgrading these weapons, don’t miss this opportunity!

Take On Large Monsters and Elder Dragons
During the event, monsters introduced in Season 11 will appear more frequently! Weapons forged from Brachydios, Azure Rathalos, and Aknosom materials are featured defense weapons for Wave 1. Among them, weapons forged from Brachydios and Azure Rathalos materials provide an even greater Defense Point bonus!
Bazelgeuse will also appear on the field through Dimensional Links. Get out there and hunt as many as you can!
The monsters appearing more frequently and the elder dragons appearing more frequently at Elder Dragon Interception points will change throughout the event.

Additional Information
- All hunters who have completed the prologue can enjoy the event content.
- Event-exclusive weapons may become available again at a later date.
- To upgrade event-exclusive equipment, you may need not only specified tickets but also monster materials.
- Event quests will automatically become available in the Special Quests tab to all hunters who have completed the prologue.
- The Event Exchange Hub will be available until Sunday, October 25th, 2026, at 2:59 p.m. (UTC).
- Exchangeable materials will be removed from your Item Box once the exchange period ends. Be sure to trade them in before it ends.
- Riftborne monsters will only start to appear after you have unlocked 8★ monsters on the field.
- Appearances of volatile territories on the field can be unlocked by completing the pre-season story.
- The pre-season story refers to the period from the end of the prologue to the completion of Chapter 13: Sunderer of the Skies.
- During the event, Deviljho will not appear in volatile territories.
- Volatile territories will not appear more frequently, except during the specified time periods.
- If you’re still progressing through the Pre-Season Story, the appearance rates of large monsters will be adjusted based on your story progress.
- Check in-game for the availability of Event Quests. Be sure to complete the quests and receive your rewards between these times.
- Quests and rewards are subject to change without notice.
