Whether you encounter a formidable monster during a walk or find a monster your friend has been looking for, this feature lets you enjoy hunting together, even when you’re apart. At launch, invitations will be sent to online friends based on certain criteria, such as in the order of those you’ve hunted with most frequently. Hunters, Read on to find out what’s happening during Season 9 Wave 1! Season 9 begins on Mar. 19 (Thu)! The weapon type, insect glaive, is finally coming to Monster Hunter Now. You’ll also encounter Seregios and other monsters, along with Riftborne Zinogre. For full Season 9 details, check here. A new feature, Friend Link, is coming, allowing you to team up with friends for a hunt no matter the distance! Use it in Elder Dragon Interceptions and hunts from your Paintball List. To celebrate the launch of Friend Link, special quests will be available, and we’re also planning an event where you can find more riftborne monsters. Enjoy hunting with friends, advance your style customization, and try out different styles! The first Wave of Season 9 will finish with Riftcharged Rathalos in Base Defense! Featured defense weapons will include Seregios- and Zinogre-material weapons, as well as weapons forged from elder dragon Kirin materials. Make the most of Friend Link and the upcoming events to forge and upgrade your equipment!

Hunters, Read on to find out what’s coming up in March! We’ll be celebrating MH Now’s 2.5-year anniversary, along with the rollout of Season 9. Let’s make it a big one! During the final week of Season 8, Wave 3, from March 9 (Mon) to March 15 (Sun), Riftcharged Barioth will appear. Prepare your equipment through the Driftsmelting Bonanza and the Season 8 Climax events, then take on Riftcharged Barioth! Season 9 is just around the corner! Details about Season 9, the Season 9 Wave 1 schedule, and events starting after March 19 (Thu) will be announced in early March. - Going forward, content update announcements will be shared by season wave, instead of monthly updates. Hunters, Read on to find out what’s coming up in February! ▼ Season 8, Wave 2 runs until Feb. 15 (Sun) During the final week, from Feb. 9 (Mon) to Feb. 15 (Sun), Riftcharged Radobaan will appear. Prepare your equipment through the Driftsmelting Bonanza and Upgrade Rush Quest events, then take on Riftcharged Radobaan! ▼ Season 8, Wave 3 begins on Feb. 16 (Mon) The riftcharged monster appearing at the end of Wave 3 will be Riftcharged Barioth! Starting in Wave 3, Riftborne Rathalos will also arrive, along with style selection for the lance. The Lunar New Year event, which also begins that day, will bring more Rathalos than usual, making it the perfect time to forge and upgrade fire element weapons, Rathalos’s elemental weakness, as you prepare for the arrival of Riftcharged Barioth!

Hunters, Read on to find out what’s coming up in January! This month marks the first-ever Base Defense at exploration bases. Prepare your equipment and take on the riftcharged monster! Plus, a brand-new feature, Base Defense, is here! Team up with hunters gathered at the same exploration base and take on powerful riftcharged monsters. A new era of hunting begins!

Hey hunters! This is the Monster Hunter Now Development Team. Starting with the upcoming Season 8, a new feature called Base Defense will debut, allowing hunters gathered at the same exploration base to work together and take on riftcharged monsters. These monsters are far more powerful than usual! Prepare your equipment and take on the riftcharged monster that appears at exploration bases during the final week of each Wave (month-long exploration period). Are you up for the challenge?

Hunters, A brand-new season begins! During this event, the appearance rates of the monsters joining Season 8, Astalos, Goss Harag, and Quematrice, as well as the newly added Riftborne Khezu, will be boosted! One of the objectives of Season 8 will be to slay the riftcharged monster that appears in the final week of each month-long Wave (exploration period), starting with this event. First up is Riftcharged Rathian, arriving in January, so let’s prepare! Weapons forged from Astalos and Khezu materials, both of which appear more frequently in this event, are designated featured defense weapons, granting a bonus when used against riftcharged monsters.
