This September, Monster Hunter Now celebrates its 2nd Anniversary, so come celebrate with us at the MH Now 2nd Anniversary event!

During the event, you can earn 2nd Anniversary Exchange Tokens by hunting monsters and completing specified quests. Trade them at the Event Exchange Hub for a variety of useful items to help forge and upgrade weapons tied to style customization!

That’s not all—you can expect to find more riftborne monsters, Silver Rathalos, Gold Rathian, and even monsters debuting from Season 7. It’s the perfect chance to upgrade your favorite equipment or forge something entirely new!

And starting Monday, September 22nd, Riftborne Deviljho joins us! At the same time, weapons requiring Deviljho materials will become eligible for style customization. Full details here.

Event Details

2nd Anniversary Exchange Hub

During the event, you can earn 2nd Anniversary Exchange Hub Tokens by hunting large monsters, slaying or repelling elder dragons, and completing certain quests. These tokens can be exchanged for rewards such as an Item Box Expansion, Wyvern Gem Shard, and a variety of monster materials.

From the start of Season 7, different monsters are expected to become more active at different times.

Event Effects

• Increased rewards for slaying featured monsters

  • Receive two of each material in the first and second slots of basic rewards.

• More dimensionally linked monsters

• Specific weapons and armor boosted

  • From the beginning of Season 7 until the event ends
  • Equipment using Espinas, Garangolm, and Lunagaron materials will be boosted

• During the following times, the only monsters on the field will be Espinas, Garangolm, Lunagaron, and Radobaan (including riftborne)

  • Friday, September 19th, 2025 – Sunday, September 21st, 2025 (local time)
    • 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.
    • 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
    • 9:00 – 10:00 p.m.

By purchasing a Special Hunt Ticket, you’ll gain a variety of powerful hunting effects, plus access to exclusive quests. Make the most of these perks and take your hunts to the next level!

• Effects of Special Hunt Tickets

  • Unlimited use of Paintballs
  • Large monsters reappear in just 30 minutes
  • Access range expanded by 50% at all times, and receive double materials from small monsters and gathering points
    (Cannot be used together with Wander Orbs / Wander Droplets / Wander Powder)
  • Gain access to a limited-time quest awarding an exclusive hunter medal, the Special Hunt: Espinas Medal

• Separate tickets will be sold for September 19th (Fri), September 20th (Sat), and September 21st (Sun), 2025.

• Ticket effects are active from 9:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. (local time) on the selected date.

• Sales are scheduled to begin around September 9th (Tue).

• Tickets will be available through the in-game Shop screen, the Special Quests tab, or the Web Store. Bonus perk: If purchased from the Web Store, you’ll also receive an Item Box Expansion.

• The Extreme Hunter Pass is also on sale, making unlimited Paintballs even more effective by increasing your Paintball list capacity by +20. Be sure to combine them for maximum benefit!

Limited-Time Quests

Take on limited-time quests that include slaying large monsters. Complete them to earn an exclusive hunter medal, layered equipment, and Guild Card background commemorating the 2nd Anniversary.
Check in-game for the timing of the event quests.

2nd Anniversary Gift

To celebrate the 2nd Anniversary, all players will receive an Item Box Expansion of 5,000 slots, increasing your storage capacity. Log in after the event begins to claim your gift!

2nd Anniversary HR 300 Achievement Reward

Hunters who have reached Hunter Rank 300 or higher will receive the special layered equipment, HR 300 Cap! It will be distributed after the event begins, and any player who reaches HR 300 even after the event ends will still be able to claim it at that time.

2nd Anniversary Discount Campaign

As part of the celebration, the “Search for this Species Again” feature will be available at a discount!

Additional Information

• All hunters who have completed the prologue can enjoy the event content.
• Event quests will automatically become available in the Special Quests tab to all hunters who have completed the prologue.
• The Event Exchange Hub will be available until Sunday, October 5th, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. (local time).
• Exchangeable materials will be removed from your Item Box once the exchange period ends. Be sure to trade them in before the deadline.
• Rare species and subspecies monsters will appear in the field only after completing the prologue and meeting the unlock requirements for their normal counterparts.
• Volatile territories will not occur more frequently.
• Appearances of volatile territories on the field can be unlocked by completing the pre-season story.
  The pre-season story refers to the period from the end of the prologue to the completion of Chapter 13: Sunderer of the Skies.
• During certain times, Deviljho will not invade in volatile territories.
