Numbers of Bazelgeuse, Zinogre, Volvidon, Aknosom, and Barroth are on the rise, Bazelgeuse invasions are expected to increase in volatile territories, and we’re even expecting Nergigante appearances at Elder Dragon Interceptions!
As a result of changes in Dimensional Rifts, dimensionally linked monsters are also showing more activity than usual!
To help you take advantage of this surge in monsters, we’ve prepared limited-time quests, some focused on group hunts. Complete all quests to earn valuable rewards like a Nergigante Horn+, Bazelgeuse Plate, and Zinogre Plate. You can also enjoy boosted rewards for both group hunts and Hunt-a-thons!
During this event, all charge blades and certain armor will receive performance boosts based on the strength of the monsters you hunt, making it easier than ever to go hunting with your charge blade. We’ve also added limited-time quests that require you to take down monsters using a charge blade or specific armor. This is the perfect opportunity to forge and upgrade your charge blades!
The charge blade lets you switch between Sword Mode and Axe Mode, charging phials in Sword Mode and unleashing devastating high-power attacks in Axe Mode.

Event Details
All charge blades and certain armor boosted
During the event, all charge blades and certain armor will receive a performance boost based on monster difficulty. Try hunting different monsters with a charge blade!
Additionally, much of the equipment that can be forged with materials from the featured monsters pairs well with the charge blade, so it’s the perfect chance to forge some!
Monster appearances
- During the event, the following monsters will appear more frequently in the specified habitats.
Bazelgeuse: forest / desert / swamp / tundra habitats
Zinogre: forest / swamp / tundra habitats
Volvidon: desert / swamp habitats
Aknosom: forest / tundra habitats
Barroth: desert habitats - Volvidon will also appear in regular numbers in forest habitats.
- Aknosom will also appear in regular numbers in swamp habitats.
- Barroth will also appear in regular numbers in swamp habitats.
- Bazelgeuse will also appear more frequently in volatile territories.
- During the event, Bazelgeuse will appear more frequently in volatile territories, and it will be the only monster to invade in volatile territories.
- Volatile territories themselves will not occur more frequently.
- During the event, monsters influenced by Dimensional Rifts will appear more frequently.
- More monsters will appear across the field.
Hunt-a-thons
- There will be some event-exclusive Hunt-a-thon points featuring Volvidon, Aknosom, and Barroth.
- There will be some event-exclusive Hunt-a-thon points featuring Bazelgeuse, Zinogre, and Volvidon.
Elder Dragon Interceptions
- During the event, only Nergigante will appear in Elder Dragon Interceptions.
Basic reward increases
- Receive more rewards for hunts carried out at Hunt-a-thon points. You will receive two of each material in the first and second slots of basic rewards.
- Hunt at Hunt-a-thon points for a chance to earn 10 Rarity 1 materials from the monster you slay.
- In Elder Dragon Interceptions, the number of basic rewards will be doubled upon repelling, and 50% higher upon slaying Nergigante. You will receive two of each material in the first to fourth slots of basic rewards.
- In group hunt rewards, there will be a guaranteed second slot rewarding monster materials.
- In group hunt rewards, there will be a chance of a third slot rewarding Alloy Armor Tickets. The probability of a third slot being added is the same as the probability of a second slot being added outside the event period.
Limited-time quests (1)
Take on limited-time quests that include slaying monsters while equipped with a charge blade or certain armor.
The Zenny and materials you can earn from these quests are more than enough to forge the specified armor.

About Premium Quests
Premium Quests are quests that can be unlocked by exchanging gems in the in-game shop. Complete these quests to earn valuable rewards!
- Three types of Premium Quests will be available: Premium Quest: Nergigante Materials, Premium Quest: Bazelgeuse Materials, and Premium Quest: Zinogre Materials.

Additional Information
- All hunters who have completed the prologue can enjoy the event content.
- Volatile territories on the field and Bazelgeuse invasions can be unlocked by completing the pre-season story.
- The pre-season story refers to the period from the end of the prologue to the completion of Chapter 13: Sunderer of the Skies.
- During the event period, the following rewards will increase: group hunt rewards for group hunts and basic rewards at Hunt-a-thon points.
- Event quests will automatically become available in the Special Quests tab to all hunters who have completed the prologue.
- Event quests will be available from Monday, June 2nd, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. until Sunday, June 8th, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. (local time). Be sure to complete the quests and receive your rewards between these times.
- To forge equipment using materials obtained from Premium Quests, you must first slay the corresponding monster or unlock it on the field.
