Halloween is coming to Monster Hunter Now! This year marks the debut of Brute Tigrex, appearing in Monster Hunter Now for the very first time, alongside the new Halloween-themed hunting horn, the Skullwhistle!
During the event, you can earn Halloween 2025 Exchange Tokens by hunting monsters and completing specific quests. These tokens can be exchanged at the Event Exchange Hub for special layered equipment and tickets to forge past Halloween-exclusive equipment. Don’t miss out!

Collect Halloween Upgrade Tickets as rewards for slaying large monsters and for slaying or repelling elder dragons, as well as by completing specific quests. These tickets can be used to upgrade your event-exclusive weapon!

3. Exchange for Items at the Event Exchange Hub
Halloween 2025 Exchange Hub
Collect Halloween 2025 Exchange Tokens as rewards for slaying large monsters and for slaying or repelling elder dragons, as well as by completing specific quests. These can then be exchanged at the Event Exchange Hub for the Jack-o’-Glove and Pumpkin Tickets, which can be used to forge previous Halloween event-exclusive equipment.
Upgrade Material Requirements Reduced!
During the event period, the materials needed to upgrade Halloween-exclusive equipment, including the Skullwhistle, will be greatly reduced! You can upgrade your Halloween equipment up to a certain grade using only Halloween Upgrade Tickets, without using Zenny or gatherable materials.
- Previously released Halloween-exclusive equipment can also be upgraded using Halloween Upgrade Tickets.
- After the event ends, event-exclusive materials like Halloween Upgrade Tickets will no longer be required, but the type and amount of materials needed will increase.
- You may need to restart the app for the changes to take effect properly.

Brute Tigrex is an exceptionally fierce monster that keeps hunters on their toes with its roars and relentless charges. Use the Earplugs skill to block its roars, and consider stopping its consecutive attacks by inflicting paralysis.
During this event, Brute Tigrex will appear more frequently in the field as a dimensionally linked monster and will also appear in Hunt-a-thons. It will also be possible to track it using the Monster Tracker once it appears. Team up with other hunters and take on the hunt together!
One example of a recommended loadout that is included in-game comprises equipment using the Skullwhistle, a paralysis element hunting horn with the Earplugs (L) melody effect. This loadout activates skills such as Valor, Shared Sword, and Paralysis Exploit, and its special skill can grant Earplugs (L) to other hunters. Try it out in your next group hunt!
