Starting this month, Riftborne Legiana joins the hunt as a new riftborne monster, unlocking style customization with Legiana materials.

In addition, style selection will be unlocked for dual blades, so take advantage of new actions and challenge monsters in your own way.

Then, beginning Thursday, November 20th, the long-awaited elder dragon Malzeno arrives in Monster Hunter Now! Malzeno is covered with elegant silver scales, but it uses the Qurio to drain the life energy of other living creatures, making this elder dragon one to beware of. Upgrade your equipment and team up with fellow hunters to take it down!

A New Riftborne Monster Appears: Legiana

Legiana arrives as a new riftborne monster! With this, it will now be possible to customize the style of Legiana weapons.

And for a limited time only, you’ll need fewer materials to forge and upgrade Legiana weapons. See the community forum announcement on release day for additional details.

Style Selection Unlocked: Dual Blades

Get ready to change up the style of your dual blades with style customization!

[Feral Demon Mode]
A style specializing in agile movements, turning Demon Mode into Feral Demon Mode.

[Spiral Slash]
A style focused on powerful combo attacks using Spiral Slash.

• Depending on the style you select, long-press actions and combos will change, offering different ways to use each weapon.
• Check the release notes on the day to read more about the styles.
• Only weapons that can be forged or upgraded with materials from riftborne monsters (Legiana, Magnamalo, Deviljho, Radobaan, Great Girros, Barroth, Tobi-Kadachi, Jyuratodus, Anjanath, Rathian, and Barioth) are eligible for style customization.

Make the most of this event to earn Zenny so you can forge and upgrade your equipment! Quest rewards include materials from Brute Tigrex and Glavenus, so take this chance to work on your upgrades!

• This event marks the final week of the 4-Week Challenge (10/13–11/9) that began in October.

4-Week Challenge (11/10–12/9)

Take on quests spanning four weeks to collect exclusive rewards! Completing the quests that appear during this period will allow you to collect two types of special layered equipment.

Autumn Hunt 2025 Prologue

An event is on the way to prepare for the arrival of the elder dragon Malzeno!
During the event, Deviljho will be appearing more frequently, offering you the chance to gather materials to forge dragon element weapons, which are effective against Malzeno.
In volatile territories, only Deviljho will appear in invasions.

Malzeno arrives on Thursday, November 20th (local time). Use this time to upgrade your dragon element weapons and get ready for the hunt!

A new paid online event is coming: Autumn Hunt 2025!

By purchasing a paid event ticket, you’ll increase the likelihood of encountering Elder Dragon Interceptions. During the event, only Malzeno will appear in these hunts, giving you the perfect chance to get a head start on forging and upgrading Malzeno weapons and armor!

This paid event will be held across two periods and you can buy a ticket for the timing that works best for you.

Driftsmelting Bonanza!

Medal Conditions

• You must sign up to participate and slay at least 1 target monster at the base and during the time slot you signed up for.
• Awarded after the time slot ends.
• Medal is awarded only once per Wave.

Monster Outbreak Goal Rewards
Rewards vary based on your base’s level.

Conditions for Receiving Goal Rewards

• Rewards can be obtained if the following conditions are met:
  • Submit at least one exploration report at that exploration base between the start of the Wave and the end of the monster outbreak.
  • Slay at least one target monster at that base.
• Rewards can be earned each time the goal is achieved during an outbreak period. Rewards are granted after each time slot ends.
