During the final week of Season 8, Wave 3, from March 9 (Mon) to March 15 (Sun), Riftcharged Barioth will appear. Prepare your equipment through the Driftsmelting Bonanza and the Season 8 Climax events, then take on Riftcharged Barioth! Season 9 is just around the corner! Details about Season 9, the Season 9 Wave 1 schedule, and events starting after March 19 (Thu) will be announced in early March. - Going forward, content update announcements will be shared by season wave, instead of monthly updates. Hunters, We’re celebrating the Lunar New Year with the Lucky Lunar New Year 2026 event! This year’s Lunar New Year event is the perfect chance to upgrade Rathalos and Quematrice equipment. Simply by progressing through the event, weapons forged from Rathalos materials can be upgraded all the way to grade 8. Hunters, Read on to find out what’s coming up in February! ▼ Season 8, Wave 2 runs until Feb. 15 (Sun) During the final week, from Feb. 9 (Mon) to Feb. 15 (Sun), Riftcharged Radobaan will appear. Prepare your equipment through the Driftsmelting Bonanza and Upgrade Rush Quest events, then take on Riftcharged Radobaan! ▼ Season 8, Wave 3 begins on Feb. 16 (Mon) The riftcharged monster appearing at the end of Wave 3 will be Riftcharged Barioth! Starting in Wave 3, Riftborne Rathalos will also arrive, along with style selection for the lance. The Lunar New Year event, which also begins that day, will bring more Rathalos than usual, making it the perfect time to forge and upgrade fire element weapons, Rathalos’s elemental weakness, as you prepare for the arrival of Riftcharged Barioth!

Hunters, We’re celebrating the arrival of a new riftborne monster, Diablos, with a special event! Starting with the January 19th update, Riftborne Diablos will appear, and style customization will also become possible for weapons forged from Diablos materials. During this event, Diablos and other large monsters will be appearing more frequently, and event effects will make it even easier for you to gather monster materials! Hunters, To celebrate the arrival of a new riftborne monster, Riftborne Legiana, a special event is coming! During this event, Legiana will be appearing more frequently. With the debut of Riftborne Legiana, style customization will also become possible for weapons forged from Legiana materials, so take this opportunity to hunt, gather materials, and forge or upgrade your gear! Hunters, With the fast-approaching beginning of autumn comes Season 7: Advent of the Exploration Base! This season brings more fierce foes: Espinas, Garangolm, and Lunagaron, plus the fearsome Riftborne Deviljho. We’ll welcome the official launch of exploration bases, which had only been available during beta tests until now, along with a new feature that makes it easier to encounter quest-target monsters in the field. On top of that, style customization, first introduced in Season 6, is receiving a major upgrade, and parameters will be boosted at each level. Style customization allows you to change your weapon’s style, altering its actions. Are you ready for a brand-new season of hunts?!
