Aknosom

Often seen standing on only one leg, it is said to resemble a parasol. When confronted by any who would dare enter its territory, it spreads its wings and intimidates the trespasser with the eye-like patterns on its crest. Within its body it stores a flammable liquid that, once ignited, is difficult to extinguish and remains for some time.

This monster spits out bouncing fireballs whose trajectory are difficult to ascertain.

It also attacks as it moves, making it hard to judge its distance from you. As such, it is necessary to watch its movements closely and look for openings after each of its attacks.

A strong specimen may greatly increase its strength by spreading its parasol-like crest. However, this grants a perfect opportunity to strike and break its weak head, so as to retract its crest and return it to its normal state.
