Garangolm
A monster characterized by its massive and rigid body. Garangolm are generally placid, living in regions with fertile soil. Their sap-like fluids can promote plant growth, forging a symbiotic relationship with flora that grows on their bodies. They can also use that sap to harden plants or the surrounding soil outfitting their bodies and enhancing their attacks.

Useful Information
This monster attacks in large swings that leave it open to counterattacks. One attack of note is its leaping body press attack that causes major tremors—this can be easily avoided by maintaining your distance, offering an exploitable opening.
When it slams the ground and roars, its front limbs and head become covered in debris, hardening its hide. Its mobility also increases, and its starts to perform even fiercer attacks, such as overturning rock formations.
When covered in debris, its front limbs each inflict different elements, with the right limb’s attacks causing blastblight. However, these debris-covered front limbs are in fact highly susceptible to elemental attacks, with the left limb being weak to the thunder element and the right limb being weak to water attacks.
Additionally, destroying the parts covered in debris can knock it down and create an opening. When it lets out a loud roar and digs up a large rock from the ground, this signals that it’s about to unleash a powerful attack. This attack cannot be guarded against and causes a wide-range explosion, so it would be wise to focus on dodging.
