Barroth

Perhaps in order to shield itself from hot temperatures, this monster is most often seen lurking beneath pools of mud. It has also been known to use the mud it cloaks itself in as a means of attacking, so exercise caution. Somewhat fastidious about its swamp, should the marsh be disturbed in any way, it will rush with reckless abandon towards the perpetrator.

This monster is left open following its headlong rush attack, allowing for its weak forelegs to be targeted, or for it to be toppled by breaking its hind legs.

This monster is also known to attack by strewing and flinging mud. As such, though fire-element weapons are effective against it, it may be wise to employ water element attacks so as to remove the hardened mud that bolsters its defenses.
