A subspecies of Rathalos bearing a blue-colored shell. It boasts far greater mobility than a normal Rathalos, relying on fierce aerial attacks to catch its prey unawares.

This monster spends a great deal of time in flight, unleashing barrages of attacks that produce wind pressure. Given this, it would be wise to prepare equipment that negates wind pressure beforehand.

If you spot it gathering strength in mid-air, this is a sign that it’s about to expel a powered-up flame breath—avoid this at all costs by dodging to the left or right. This variant’s regular flame breath should not be taken lightly either, as its fire boasts greater attack power and remains on the ground for far longer than that of a normal Rathalos.

In addition to the head and wings, the tip of the tail is also a weak point, so do your best to aim for it.
