Prepare for Kirin: Fire Element Quests!

Hunters,

Monster alert! Signs of heightened activity have been observed among Azure Rathalos, Rathalos, Aknosom, Basarios, and Anjanath, as well as a smaller increase in Silver Rathalos. Now is the perfect time to focus on upgrading your fire-element weapons so we’ve prepared some quests to help you take down these monsters.

You’ll need those fire-element weapons when Kirin comes along so don’t snooze on this event!

Dates and Times:

From Monday, January 20th, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. until Sunday, January 26th, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. (local time)

Event Details:

Monster appearances:

• During the event, these monsters will appear more frequently in the following habitats:
  　Silver Rathalos: forest and swamp habitats
  　Azure Rathalos: forest habitat
  　Rathalos: forest habitat
  　Aknosom: swamp and tundra habitats
  　Basarios: desert habitat
  　Anjanath: desert habitat
  *Silver Rathalos will have a smaller increase than other featured monsters.

Hunt-a-thon points:

• There will be some event-exclusive Hunt-a-thon points featuring Silver Rathalos, Azure Rathalos, Rathalos, Basarios, and Anjanath.

Reward increases:

• During the event, receive 50%(*) more materials than usual for slaying the above featured monsters.
  *You will receive two of each material in the first and second slots of basic rewards.

Limited-time quests:

• Take on limited-time quests that include slaying Azure Rathalos.

Main rewards lineup:

• Gatherable materials including Earth Crystals
• Monster materials including a Wyvern Gem Shard and Silver Rathalos Plate
