During this upcoming event, you’ll be able to obtain a new type of Mysterious Driftstone for slaying monsters. This driftstone can be used to grant the new skill, Timed Charger, or the existing skill, Headstrong, to your armor. On top of that, you’ll have a higher chance of receiving Crimson/Azure/Amber/Cyan/Pale Driftstones when slaying monsters other than the ones listed above. This is your chance to grab the driftstones you’ve been looking for more easily than usual! And don’t forget: the required walking distance for smelting driftstones obtained during the event is reduced from 5 km to just 1 km. Make the most of this opportunity to get smelting!

We’re launching a beta test for a new feature that is currently in development for Monster Hunter Now: Exploration Bases! Exploration bases are local landmarks that hunters can grow together by collecting Exploration Emblems (found at gathering points (L), etc.) and submitting exploration reports. Work with other hunters in your area to uplevel your base! To close out the test, the final two days will feature monster outbreaks at exploration bases. The higher the base’s level, the greater the slaying goal - but also the rewards! Your feedback during this beta period is incredibly valuable. Reports also show that a brand-new type of driftstone will be available for you to collect by slaying monsters during this event. This new driftstone offers the chance to grant powerful skills like the newly introduced Ailment Opportunist and the existing Status Sneak Attack and Blast Attack to your armor. What’s more, the distance required for driftsmelting with driftstones acquired during the event will be reduced from 5 km to just 1 km!
