Hunters, Signs of heightened activity have been observed, with Rajang, Zinogre, Khezu, Tzitzi-Ya-Ku, and Tobi-Kadachi on the move. To help you prepare to take on Bazelgeuse, who is weak to thunder-element weapons, we’ve prepared special quests to hunt these monsters! Completing these quests will reward you with materials, including a Gold Rajang Pelt and Zinogre Plate if you make it to the end. In addition to the return of exclusive equipment from the 2024 event, a dragon-element light bowgun will also make its debut. Each of these pieces of equipment scales their performance based on the strength of the monsters you hunt during the event period. Hunters, Monster alert! Signs of heightened activity have been observed among Azure Rathalos, Rathalos, Aknosom, Basarios, and Anjanath, as well as a smaller increase in Silver Rathalos. Now is the perfect time to focus on upgrading your fire-element weapons so we’ve prepared some quests to help you take down these monsters. You’ll need those fire-element weapons when Kirin comes along so don’t snooze on this event!

Hunters, We’re excited to announce the arrival of an additional weapon type: the Switch Axe! The Switch Axe lets you switch skillfully between two modes: the long-reaching Axe Mode and the fast-attacking Sword Mode. Switching from Axe to Sword requires building up the Switch Gauge. While in Axe Mode, the gauge fills over time, with successful hits, or by performing a Morph Slash. While in Sword Mode, the Switch Gauge is depleted, and once depleted, the weapon will automatically return to Axe Mode. Sword Mode also grants additional effects and follow-up attacks based on the type of phial equipped. Activate Zero Sum Discharge (SP) to sink your Sword Mode Switch Axe into the monster, before discharging all of your phial’s energy. To help you master the Switch Axe, we’ve prepared some special limited-time quests. Take advantage of this weapon’s versatility to gain an edge in your hunts!
