Chameleos

A monster capable of rendering itself invisible through camouflage. While invisible it cannot be locked onto.

Once half of its health has been depleted, it will envelop the field in fog and its movement speed will increase, making it even harder to land a hit on. However, if you can manage to damage it enough times in succession, it will recoil heavily and become visible again.

Breaking its horn will inhibit its camouflaging ability. It primarily attacks using its breath that can produce a thick fog, as well as toxic clouds. This venom may remain for a prolonged period of time, so be sure not to touch it.

Chameleos also unleashes its poisonous breath in a wide range, sometimes using its wings to draw in or push the clouds away. It tends to telegraph this action in advance, however, so be sure to either move far away or be on the defensive when it starts to violently stamp its feet.

In addition, this monster may use its tail to produce dragon wind pressure powerful enough to send boulders flying—this attack can be weakened by severing its tail.

Perhaps its most unique attack is the ability to siphon your Special Gauge using its tongue, allowing it to immediately spew forth a now orange-tinted fog breath.
