This monster’s characteristic rolling attack is not difficult to avoid if you can spot it coming beforehand, as it rolls toward the direction it is leaning before attacking.

It can roll in a tracking or circling motion, as well as jump while rolled up. It also uses a tongue attack that will draw you in close should it connect.

Additionally, it spits out a fluid that causes paralysis. This fluid will remain on the ground for an extended period of time, so exercise caution.

If attacked from behind, it will release gas from its body that causes the stench status should it make contact with you.

If it takes a certain amount of damage during a rolling attack, it will fall to the ground, creating an opening. While rolling, its hide becomes vulnerable, but since it is difficult for projectiles to hit it, melee weapons are more effective.
