Mizutsune

A monster that has evolved in a unique manner. While classified as a water-based Leviathan, there have been numerous sightings of it residing on land, utilizing its limber and agile body. It mixes a peculiar fluid with its fur to produce bubbles that ensnare its prey. Surrounded by these trails of bubbles as it leaps about with finesse, the sight of it hunting is said to resemble a dance.

Useful Information

It attacks using secreted bubbles and water.

If you are hit by its bubbles, you will be stricken with bubbleblight status, making movement difficult due to slipperiness.

If Mizutsune itself is covered in bubbles, some of its attacks will be performed while sliding around. In this state, though it becomes difficult to land your attacks on it, its exterior becomes softer, offering more weak points to exploit.

Its bubble-covered state can be dispelled by breaking its head.

It has a tendency to telegraph each of its attacks, granting you ample time to judge when to evade. It is also left wide open after exhaling its powerful water element breath.
