Goss Harag

A monster native to ice-cold climates. Covered in fur so thick it keeps out the harsh frost, it roams the snowy plains in search of prey. It can inhale the cold air to freeze its own bodily fluids and then spit them out to create icy blades on its arms. When riled up, the Goss Harag turns red and becomes exceedingly dangerous.

Useful Information

Roaring causes its entire body to turn red and enter an overheated state. While its defenses are lowered significantly during this phase, its weakness to fire element attacks is reduced, making high-damage weapons the optimal path to victory.

After overheating, it will envelop its arms in ice following either a cold breath attack or after a certain amount of time has passed, rendering it even more ferocious. These icy coats come in two types: ice blades and ice fists. Its ice blades utilize long reach, while its ice fists deliver powerful, heavy strikes.

Be especially cautious when it jumps, as when it lands, the impact will cause the ground in front of it to splinter and erupt. Timing your dodges to the left or right is key.

Breaking the ice-coated body parts will topple it. Furthermore, inflicting status abnormalities like paralysis, sleep or stun will remove the ice-coating effect.
