Useful Information
A monster that boasts strong legs.
It moves swiftly, quickly moving out of range of your attacks, before then closing the gap to counter.
Be especially wary of its tail, which can cleave at you from long range, and is covered in spiky scales that can inflict bleeding status. Keep an eye out for when it slams this tail onto the ground—it will take a while for it to pull its tail out of the soil, granting you a chance to counter-attack. You can also break its tail, as well as either one of its cutwings to create an opening.
In general, however, this monster offers few windows of opportunity to attack, so it would be best to aggressively keep up a continuous assault.
After roaring, its eyes will glow red, and it will appear to withdraw its tail, before unleashing strings of attacks instead of singular ones. You can halt this onslaught by putting the monster to sleep—however, this is only a temporary measure, as it will soon awaken.
