Glavenus

A monster that wields a colossal blade-like tail. With each successive attack, its tail becomes hotter and sharper. After some time, its red-hot tail will start to cool down, eventually beginning to rust. However, Glavenus will sharpen it using its fangs, appearing to store the waste material in its throat to use for its flame breath attack.

Useful Information

Glavenus will bash you with its tail, while also dragging it along the ground to produce flames using friction.

Positioning yourself behind this monster will put you at a huge disadvantage, so try circling around to the left or right instead.

When its tail is heated up its attacks will become ever the more powerful, but this state also makes its tail softer and vulnerable to being severed. Once its tail has cooled down, it will begin to rust, which makes the tail hard again.

If you spot it nibbling at its heated-up tail, watch out, as this means it’s about to unleash a devastating wide-range cleave attack. If, however, you see it doing this while the tail is rusted, this means that it’s trying to remove the rust—an excellent opportunity to launch your counterattack.
